Copy ink In terms of their composition, they are prepared in the same way as ordinary ink, only they are made more concentrated in the content of the dye. In addition, sugar and glycerin are added - substances that maintain moisture. Because of this, they acquire the property of not being absorbed into the paper and, when touching a not completely dry letter with damp tissue paper, they separate a particle of the dye from themselves.

The amount of both substances is best determined on samples.

To test copy ink, you need to put tissue paper on a sheet of thick wax paper (or oilcloth) and moisten it with water using a wide brush or sponge. Then cover with leak paper and put it all in a thick book and press hard to remove excess dampness. After that, put the written sheet of paper, cover it with tissue paper and put it all back into the book and press firmly.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

The breathalyzer built into the car will block the engine 14.04.2012

Cars with built-in breathalyzers that prevent the engine from starting if the driver is intoxicated may hit the market a little earlier than previously thought. According to the WSJ, the production of such systems with a “breathing tube” and a finger sensor has already started, work is being carried out in cooperation with the Association of Automobile Manufacturers (AAM) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA, USA).

AAM vice president of transportation safety, Rob Strassburger, said manufacturers "have made more progress faster than we expected." However, in reality, even those who are aware of the importance of such a system for the safety of the driver and passengers are unlikely to agree to have a personal sentry in their own car.

The appearance of such a system does not mean that now it will be forcibly installed on all cars, the decision to install it is made on an individual basis either by the owner of the car or by the manufacturer. For example, breathalyzers may appear on rental cars. Some experts still doubt the reliability of such systems and point to the likelihood of false positives. In addition, you still need to determine the level of concentration of alcohol in the blood, which no longer allows you to start the car.
