This device will serve you well - it will make it easier to drill holes: in a vice with a gearbox, the compression force is one and a half times greater than in conventional ones, which increases the reliability of fastening, and the flywheel can be rotated more comfortably than a conventional handle. By changing the pads (each of them is attached to the jaws with two M8 screws), it is possible to clamp parts of various configurations with a maximum thickness of up to 80 mm. In the design of a vice with a gearbox, all parts are quite simple, made of steel of common grades.

First, corner guides and a fixed sponge with an overlay are welded to the base. The movable sponge is assembled separately: the pad and sliders are screwed to it, the stop nut is inserted into the socket, and the power screw is inserted into it. All this is put on guides.

The base of the gearbox is welded from several parts: stop, corners and front cheek; put on the guides, passing the shank of the power shaft through the hole in the stop.

A washer is put on the power shaft, a large gear with a key made of steel 45 and an M18 nut is screwed on.

Next, they put in place the upper shaft with a small gear and washers and the rear cheek of the gearbox, which is immediately screwed to the ends of the guides with two M6 screws.

The casing is also screwed and thus the assembly of the vise is completed. The flywheel is attached last: it is put on the square shank of the upper shaft and fixed with an M6 axial screw.

In order for the vise to work well, it is necessary to lubricate all rubbing surfaces during assembly. This will guarantee their long and faithful service.

Computer games are becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment among teenagers, but the associated risk of gaming addiction remains a significant problem. American scientists conducted a study to determine the main factors contributing to this addiction and offer recommendations for its prevention. Over the course of six years, 385 teenagers were followed to find out what factors may predispose them to gambling addiction. The results showed that 90% of study participants were not at risk of addiction, while 10% became gambling addicts. It turned out that the key factor in the onset of gambling addiction is a low level of prosocial behavior. Teenagers with a low level of prosocial behavior do not show interest in the help and support of others, which can lead to a loss of contact with the real world and a deepening dependence on virtual reality offered by computer games. Two mushrooms on chocolate 14.09.2000

Until 1995, Brazil was the world's leading exporter of cocoa beans. Since then, the Brazilian cocoa crop has shrunk by about four times.

The reason is the fungus Crinipellis pemiciosa, which attacked the plantations. It causes "witch's brooms" on the cocoa tree's branches and, more importantly, destroys the tree's beans themselves. But scientists have noticed that sometimes another fungus called Trichoderma viride grows on this fungus in the Amazon floodplain.
