Rockfalls most dangerous in the mountains in summer, because. in winter, water, freezing, cements rocks. Most often, rockfalls occur in the morning and evening, i.e. at a time when the most rapid change in air and rock temperature is observed. Signs of frequent rockfalls are fresh streaks from falling stones on the walls of couloirs and gutters, a characteristic smell of sulfur, mud or vertical brown streaks on snowy slopes under rocks, the presence of recently separated stones, on the surface of a glacier or slope.

Rocks made of layered, porous or other easily destructible rocks are obviously dangerous.

Dangerous areas must be passed either early in the morning or in the afternoon.

You can completely protect yourself from rockfalls only by moving along the watersheds.

A new study by an international team of scientists has found that beer temperature has a significant impact on the perception of alcoholic taste. Inhospitable Antarctica in recent years has attracted not only winter explorers, but also tourists arriving on cruise ships. Botanists from the Republic of South Africa (Stellenbosch University) vacuumed the clothes, shoes and luggage of 33 tourists and 7100 professional polar explorers who visited Antarctica in 2007 and 2008.

On average, they found seeds of ten species of plants on each of the surveyed.
