Introduction. Spy things

The times in which we live are characterized by extreme intensity of development of all forms of social activity, including political life and entrepreneurship. Some politicians quickly replace others, some businessmen instantly make a fortune, others go bankrupt. The pages of periodicals are replete with reports of fraud, major fraud, abuse of power, extortion, theft, contract killings of entrepreneurs, etc. All these unpleasant moments of modern life have one thing in common - every crime is based on confidential information obtained in one way or another, without which it is sometimes impossible to commit a crime or avoid punishment.

The purpose of writing this book is to provide an overview of the art of secretly storing important documents, jewelry, money, securities, etc. In it, you will also learn how to protect yourself from attacks on privacy and trade secrets, what equipment and what methods must be applied, where you can purchase the appropriate equipment or how to make it yourself. This book will help you take a step into the art and science of secret storage, from it you will learn how to hide large and small objects (documents) for a short time or for a long time.

This is not just another book in the “How to make hiding places” series. This is not a textbook on carpentry or earthworks. Here, like no other book on this topic, the very dynamics of the process are revealed. Pay special attention to the chapters that talk about methods and techniques for finding caches.

Sometimes it is believed that keeping something secret is, in principle, illegal, and a person with a clear conscience “has nothing to hide.” But this is far from true. To prove this to you, here are some examples.

Imagine a person who is worried that thieves will break into his house. He understands that no locks, no alarms, no alarm can prevent robbers from stealing valuables, such as a collection of coins.

Another example is a law enforcement officer carrying a standard weapon. If he has small children, then it is necessary to protect the gun and cartridges from their nimble little hands. Children are too young to understand the basic rules of handling weapons and are too inquisitive to be stopped by a simple warning: “Don’t touch!”

The situation is approximately the same for a hunter or sportsman who keeps a weapon at home. He knows that children under a certain age are not affected by any warnings, and even if his children have grown up and understood how to handle weapons, then the children of guests are probably often in the house. It is better to store shotguns or pistols out of their reach, in specially equipped safes.

But here is a person who keeps money at home because he doesn’t trust banks. He knows that the bank could fail and is not entirely sure whether he will be compensated for the damage. At best, he will have to wait a long time for his money to be returned. Such a person needs to have a place where he can keep his banknotes safe.

A dealer in valuable items, such as stamps, coins, and precious stones, keeps his goods protected by an alarm. But it is possible that, without much hope for an alarm, he will want to hide especially valuable things to improve their safety.

Or suppose someone has undeclared income by selling vegetables from their garden unofficially. He has to hide money not only from thieves, but also from the tax office. He knows that a bank account can be arrested or the bank can go bankrupt, and to subscribe to a safe means to entrust your property to someone’s conscience and honesty. He believes that you can only trust yourself.

Don't make the common mistake of being open about your hiding places. Some are proud of them and show them to friends and acquaintances. But this violates secrecy and can lead to big complications. If you need a hiding place, then you have a reason to keep it secret. Keep quiet and you will save yourself from unnecessary problems.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Three human brains tied into a net 05.10.2018

In recent years, scientists have developed tools that provide the ability to "read thoughts" and transmit them to the brain. To a very limited extent, but sufficient to demonstrate the most fundamental possibility of such an exchange of information.

In 2015, using electroencephalography (EEG) to record the electrical activity of the brain and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to relay information to the brain, researchers at the University of Washington were able to connect the brains of one participant in an experiment to those of another. During the experiment, participants played a question game.

The obvious next step was to create a network of three people. This time, the participants sent thoughts to each other while playing a Tetris-style game.

The participants were isolated from each other. Two were wearing EEG instruments. These participants saw the entire screen and could pass "commands" to rotate the figures to a third participant who only saw the top of the screen where the figures appear, but could not know whether to rotate them or not. He had to receive commands using TMS.

In order to transmit the turn command, the corresponding participant had to look at the LED on the edge of the screen flashing at a frequency of 15 Hz. A second LED flashing at a frequency of 17 Hz served to transmit the command to refuse to turn. The fact is that when perceiving flashes of light, the brain generates impulses with the same frequency, fixed by the EEG. And if certain areas of the brain are stimulated at this frequency with the help of TMS, a person experiences a sensation of flashes. Having received signals from two partners, the "receiver" carried out the command required by them.

To complicate the experiment, the scientists tried to arbitrarily change the commands received by the "receiver". So they introduced an element of error that is present in real communication. As it turned out, a person is able to distinguish correct information from false, having only the "protocol" of interaction with partners described above.

According to the researchers, the technology is easily scalable - both in terms of the number of network participants and the distances separating them.
