1. General safety requirements

1.1. Men and women are allowed to work as weighers.

1.2. At the workplace, the employee receives an initial briefing on labor safety and undergoes: an internship; training in the design and operation of the used weight measuring equipment; hygienic training with passing the test (in the food warehouse); verification of theoretical knowledge and acquired skills of safe ways of working.

1.3. During work, the employee passes:

labor safety training for existing equipment every 2 years, and for new equipment - as it enters the enterprise, but until the moment this equipment is put into operation;
verification of hygienic knowledge (in the food salary) - once every 2 years;
periodic medical examination:
an employee who has contact with food - annually;
an employee exposed to dangerous and harmful production factors - once every 1-2 years (subject to the requirements of health authorities).

The employee must receive repeated training on labor safety at the workplace once every 6 months.

1.4. During work, an employee may be exposed to hazardous and harmful production factors (moving machines and mechanisms, transported goods, containers, collapsing stacks of weighed goods, low air temperature of the working area; insufficient illumination of the working area; sharp edges, burrs and roughness on the surfaces of inventory, goods and containers).

1.5. The employee must be provided with personal protective equipment, and in case of contact with food, also with sanitary clothing. Recommended norms for the free issue of special clothing, special footwear, other personal protective equipment:

combined mittens GOST 12.4.010-75 - to wear;
when working in refrigerators and freezers, a cotton jacket and trousers with an insulating lining - for 36 months; felt boots - for 48 months;
rubber overshoes - for 12 months;
when working with food, a white cotton apron - for 6 months;
white cotton oversleeves - for 6 months.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Prepare the workplace for safe work (firmly install scales, tilt bridge, conveniently place weights, etc.).

2.2. Check the correctness of the scales and other equipment used.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. Be at a safe distance from maneuvering electric and motor vehicles.

3.2. Exercise caution while in the places of production of loading and unloading operations.

3.3. Do not allow the accumulation of goods near the scales.

3.4. Monitor the condition of the container, do not allow it to be damaged.

3.5. Ensure that no opening of containers, packing (unpacking) of goods, etc., is carried out on the loading platform of the scales.

4. Safety requirements at the end of work

Remove weights, weighing devices to designated storage locations.
