Safe Operation

1. General requirements for labor protection

1.1. Medical personnel with hypersensitivity to chlorine preparations are not allowed to work with anolyte.

1.2. At an active chlorine concentration of 0,05% or more, the anolyte has a sensitizing and local irritating effect. When inhaled, it is a highly dangerous compound that can cause acute toxic irritation of the respiratory organs and mucous membranes of the eyes.

1.3. Employees must be provided with personal protective equipment: an RPG-67 or RG-60m respirator with a grade B cartridge, sealed goggles or a gas mask and rubber gloves.

1.4. The room must be well ventilated. Smoking is prohibited.

1.5. In the event of an accident, the victim or eyewitness of the accident must immediately report this to the immediate supervisor.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Make sure the ventilation is working properly, check the illumination of the workplace.

2.2. Check the availability and serviceability of protective equipment.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. When working with anolyte with an active chlorine concentration of 0,03% or more, it is necessary to protect the respiratory organs with an RPG-67 or RG-60m respirator with a grade B cartridge or a gas mask, eyes - with hermetic goggles, hand skin - with rubber gloves (at the time of filling, diving into an open container, as well as at the time of its loading).

3.2. Containers for receiving, transporting, storing and using anolyte must be tightly closed with lids.

3.3. It is forbidden to use an anolyte with an active chlorine concentration of more than 0,05% for any type of work.

3.4. Disinfection with anolyte should be carried out in the absence of unauthorized persons and unemployed medical staff.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In case of fire, act according to instruction 01.

4.2. If signs of anolyte poisoning are detected:

  • remove the victim to fresh air or to a well-ventilated area;
  • notify the manager;
  • provide him with peace and warmth;
  • give a warm drink - water, tea, if possible - milk with mineral water or baking soda;
  • carry out inhalation with a 2% solution of baking soda (1 teaspoon per glass of boiling water);
  • see a doctor.

Signs of acute anolyte poisoning:

  • irritation of the respiratory system - lesions in the nose and nasopharynx, cough, discharge from the nose;
  • irritation of the mucous membranes of the eyes - burning, pain, profuse lacrimation;
  • redness and itching of the skin;
  • headache.

4.3. If anolyte gets into the eyes, rinse them with plenty of running water, on the skin of the hands, wash with water, lubricate with cream. If the condition worsens, consult a doctor, inform the head.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. After the end of work (shift), check and tidy your workplace, turn off the light.

5.2. Report any deficiencies found during work to the supervisor.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Industrialization has changed the planet's climate 08.04.2021

Scientific journals publish many studies on the abnormally rapid increase in the average annual temperature of the planet. Many point out that the reason for this was industrialization and the use of fossil fuels on an industrial scale. However, for the first time, direct observations of the driving force of climate change have appeared from NASA scientists.

Since the industrial revolution of the mid-280th century, when coal and other fossil fuels began to be actively used by mankind, the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has increased from 415 ppm to its current value of XNUMX ppm.

Human activity has led to air pollution, which has affected our health and wildlife. Some of these particles are also present in the form of aerosols that reflect the sun's rays and have a cooling effect on a global level.

Thus, aerosols cool and greenhouse gases warm the planet. The difference between the energy absorbed by the atmosphere and reflected back into space is called "radiative forcing".

When the radiative forcing is zero, it means that the planet's energy system is in balance. With a positive value, the atmosphere warms up.

NASA experts measured the current radiative forcing using satellites to determine how accurately each factor affects our planet. To do this, they combined the data of the Earth's cloudiness and radiation system with other sources of information, in particular, ocean temperature.

According to the study, in the period from 2003 to 2018, the anthropogenic factor caused an increase in radiation exposure by about 0,5 watt/m2.

The first calculations of the total radiative forcing are made using global observations, taking into account the effects of aerosols and greenhouse gases. Direct evidence has been obtained that human activity causes changes in the energy balance of the Earth.
