  • lack of fan drive guard and sluice gate.

In all the above cases, the employee must immediately turn off the technological and aspiration equipment, inform the shift foreman or the head of the workshop.

4.4. In case of signs of fire, immediately stop all equipment with the emergency shutdown button, inform the shift foreman, report the fire detector to the plant’s checkpoint, and if necessary, to the city’s fire station by phone 01, take part in the elimination of the fire.

4.5. In cases of injury, it is necessary to immediately inform the shift foreman, the head of the workshop, contact the medical center of the plant, if necessary, call an ambulance by calling 03.

5. Possible malfunctions of ventilation systems and ways to eliminate them.

Malfunction Possible reasons Solutions
The fan runs with a lot of vibration The impeller on the shaft is fixed with a warp. Imbalance of the impeller due to dust accumulation. Structural elements of the impeller are broken (bends, dents, distortions, wear of the blades, loose fixing bolts) Check the installation of the impeller. Clean the impeller from dust and check the balance. Balance wheel and pulleys or replace bearings. Tighten the bolts.
The fan generates excessive noise during operation The fan is installed without shock absorbers. The speed of rotation of the impeller exceeds the allowable values. Install shock absorbers. Reduce rotation speed or replace with another fan with the required specifications.
Fan bearing heating The bearing lubrication level is not correct. Lubricant contamination. Misalignment of the shaft and bearings. Tight tension on drive belts. Add or reduce the amount of lubricant. Change the grease, put the grease of the appropriate quality. Eliminate misalignment of bearings. Ensure correct belt tension.
The sluice does not release the product The sluice is filled with product. A layer of product has formed above the sluice gate. The shutter does not provide tightness, air leakage prevents the product from being removed. Clean the sluice. Destroy and remove the product of the inner surface of the filter cone or battery pack.
Sluice gate does not rotate A foreign object (straw, chaff, dust) has fallen between the fins of the rotor and the housing Clean the sluice
The filter does not provide the required air purification. Ripped or broken sleeves Repair or replace damage, check sleeve fastenings
Filter resistance higher than specified Filter leakage Check and seal all connections of the filter and adjacent air ducts. Seal inspection hatches.
Increased dustiness of the premises Violation of tightness of aspirated equipment Perform sealing of aspirated equipment.

5.1. Repair of aspiration installations should be carried out with a complete shutdown of the aspiration equipment and the technological and transport equipment it serves.

5.2. The service personnel must inform the shift supervisor about the identified malfunctions, who takes measures to eliminate them, makes an appropriate entry in the log.

6. Safety requirements at the end of work

6.1. At the end of the shift, the employee must put his workplace in order.

6.2. Report all detected safety violations to the foreman, transfer the workplace, tools and fixtures to the shifter, informing him of the malfunctions that have occurred and the measures taken to eliminate them.

6.3. Before changing into personal clothes, take a hygienic shower, put the overalls in the wardrobe.

6.4. It is not allowed to remain in the workshop or on the territory of the plant after the end of the shift without the knowledge of the shift foreman or the head of the workshop.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
