3.3. Warn those working near heated areas of the danger of electric shock and instruct them carefully.

3.4. The heated areas with electric current must be under the round-the-clock supervision of qualified fitters, it is forbidden to find people in the heated areas, except for the moment of temperature measurement, which is carried out by qualified personnel using protective equipment and, if possible, with one hand.

3.5. In areas of heating with voltages up to 60 volts, it is allowed to work with a fitter's tool with dielectric handles using rubber gloves and rubber shoes.

3.6. Within the electric heating zone, it is necessary to install signal lamps that light up when voltage is applied, hang out warning posters with the inscriptions "danger", "Current on", as well as the rules for first aid in case of electric shock.

3.7. Open, non-concrete reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures associated with the electric heating section is subject to additional grounding.

3.8. Before turning on the voltage, as well as after each movement of electrical equipment to a new location, it is required to check the condition of the insulation of wires, protective equipment, fences, grounding of electrical equipment.

3.9. In wet weather and during a thaw, all types of electrical heating in the open air should be stopped.

3.10. Work related to electrical heating must be carried out in compliance with the requirements and rules for the technical operation and safety of maintenance of electrical installations of industrial enterprises.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
