I. General Provisions

The senior foreman of the production site is appointed to the position and dismissed from his position by order of the general director on the proposal of the head of the production site.
The senior foreman of the production site reports directly to the head of the site.
During the absence of the senior foreman, he is replaced by the foreman or deputy head of the section, or a person appointed by the head.
A person with a higher technical education and work experience in production for at least one year is appointed to the position of senior foreman.
Must know:

current legislation of Ukraine;
resolutions, decisions, orders and other guidance and regulatory materials of higher and other bodies on issues related to the production and economic activities of the structural unit;
technical characteristics and requirements for products manufactured (performed) by the site, the technology of its production, equipment and fixtures at the site and the rules for their operation;
methods of technical, economic and production planning;
economic accounting and the procedure for billing works and workers, norms and prices for work, the procedure for their revision;
the current regulation on wages;
fundamentals of economics, organization of production, labor and management;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

II. Official duties

The senior foreman of the production site is obliged to:

To carry out management of the headed section, aimed at the fulfillment of planned targets and technical and economic indicators.
Carry out the distribution of work by teams (workers) on the basis of the developed tasks, rationally arrange teams (workers) by objects and types of equipment, taking into account the qualifications of workers and the category of work.
To ensure that the section fulfills the planned targets but the scope of work and in the given nomenclature on time and with good quality.
Prepare production in a timely manner.
Timely eliminate emerging problems that interfere with the normal course of the production process.
To ensure that the workers comply with production standards, the correct use of working areas, equipment, tooling and tools, and the uniform operation of the site.
To carry out the formation of brigades (their quantitative, qualification and professional composition).
Develop and implement measures for the rational maintenance of brigades (links), coordinate their activities.
Organize work to improve the skills and professional skills of workers and foremen, train them in second and related professions, develop mentoring, and conduct educational work in a team.
Provide the necessary assistance in the development of production standards and the fulfillment of production tasks.
Timely and correctly draw up orders in accordance with the scope of work.
Participate in the development of new and in the improvement of existing technological processes and production modes, as well as production schedules.
Establish and timely bring production targets to teams and individual workers in accordance with the approved production plan and schedules.
Provide reporting on labor, wages and product quality.
Monitor the careful use and storage of materials and semi-finished products.
To know the requirements for the quality of work performed, for materials and products, and to demand their exact implementation by teams and workers.
Do not exceed the standard cost of production.
Avoid overspending the payroll.
Analyze the results of production activities and timely draw up primary documents for the implementation of the nomenclature plan, accounting for working hours, production, wages, downtime.

III. Rights

The senior foreman of the production site has the right to:

give assignments to subordinate employees, tasks on a range of issues included in his functional duties;
control the fulfillment of production tasks, the timely execution of individual orders by employees subordinate to him;
to request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the issues of their activities and activities of employees subordinate to him;
interact with other services of the enterprise on production and other issues that are part of its functional duties;
get acquainted with the draft decisions of the company's management regarding the activities of the Division;
propose for consideration by the manager proposals for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description;
submit for consideration by the head of the proposal on the promotion of distinguished employees, the imposition of penalties on violators of production and labor discipline;
report to the manager on all identified violations and shortcomings in connection with the work performed.

IV. A responsibility

The production foreman is responsible for:

For failure to perform (improper performance) of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
