I. General Provisions

A tax specialist is an official who is appointed and dismissed by the head of the administration.
The tax specialist reports directly to the head of administration.
In his work, the tax specialist is guided by:

the legislation of Ukraine;
resolutions and orders of the head of the district;
resolutions and orders of the head of administration;
internal labor regulations;
this Job Description.

In his activities, the tax specialist is guided by this Job Description.
The tax specialist reports directly to the head of the department.
During the absence of a tax specialist (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed by order of the general director of the enterprise. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the high-quality and timely performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Tax Specialist:

Maintains books of personal accounts for state and local taxes.
It collects land tax for agricultural purposes from owners of land plots, a tax on pastures.
Calculates agricultural payments.
Charges self-taxation in the amount established by the conference (general meeting) of citizens.
It collects and distributes property tax from owners of buildings from individuals, as well as real estate tax, property tax in the order of inheritance and donation.
Issue payment notices for all types of payments.
Maintains a ledger of receipts, payments of all kinds.
Timely transfers money to the state bank, draws up accompanying documents to the bank.
Together with the land surveyor, he reconciles the conformity of the sizes of land plots according to the cord and household books, specifies the amount of payment for pastures.
Performs timely posting of all types of payments to personal accounts.
Charges a resort fee within the county.
Performs separate one-time assignments of the head of administration.

III. Rights

The tax specialist has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management on the issues of its activities.
Submit proposals for improvement of the work related to the responsibilities provided for in this instruction for consideration by the management.
Receive from the heads of structural divisions, specialists information and documents on issues within its competence.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.
Require the management of the organization to provide the organizational and technical conditions necessary for the performance of official duties.

IV. A responsibility

The Tax Specialist is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For the safety of strict reporting forms.
For disclosure of information contained in documents for non-official purposes.

SAMSUNG: hard drives have no future 28.11.2005

"Hard drives have no future - in the near future they will be replaced by solid-state flash memory," said Dr. Chang Gui Gwang, executive director of Samsung's semiconductor division.

Samsung has launched a 16 GB solid-state NAND flash memory module using 50 nm technology. Prior to this, the volume of record-breaking cards reached 4 GB, and the announced SD cards with a capacity of 8 GB have so far been released.

"The amount of NAND flash memory is doubling every 12 months," Mr. Gwang said. This means that in the near future, the chips, which currently have a capacity of 16 GB, will "migrate" from PDAs to mobile and then desktop computers, which will eventually doom hard drives to extinction.

According to Tech World, by 2006 or 2007, Samsung plans to mass-produce 32 GB non-volatile memory cards for laptops based on 16 GB chips. Their serial production will be deployed in the second half of 2006.

Switching to the 50nm process means that one bit will only take up 0,00625 square microns, which is 25% less than using the 60nm process. Already a year later, if the trend of doubling the amount of solid-state memory annually continues, there will be 32-gigabyte NAND memory chips suitable for creating 64-gigabyte memory cards.

In 2007, the volume of the latter will reach 128 GB. Once this milestone is reached, NAND memory will begin to replace hard drives in desktop PCs. Nevertheless, the outcome of the struggle is still difficult to predict. Although solid-state memory is resistant to mechanical stress that can destroy a hard drive, it has its drawbacks. She is not eternal. Modern solid-state memory is designed for a finite number of write/read cycles.

An important factor will be the level of power consumption of the chips and, of course, their cost. However, clouds are gathering over hard drives.
