I. General Provisions

The Deputy Director for Retail Trade is appointed and dismissed by order of the director of the enterprise.
The Deputy Director for Retail Trade reports directly to the director of the enterprise.
In his work, the Deputy Director for Retail is guided by:

normative-legal and legislative acts of Ukraine;
Labor Code;
this Job Description.

An employee with higher economic, legal, managerial, technical and work experience in the relevant industry in management positions of at least five years can be appointed to the position of Deputy Director for Retail Trade.
The Deputy Director of Retail must know:

resolutions, instructions, orders of higher authorities, methodological and regulatory documents on product quality management;
organizational structure of enterprise management;
methods of planning and improving the quality and efficiency of service delivery;
requirements and procedure for licensing certain types of economic activities of an enterprise;
the nomenclature, the list of goods which the enterprise trades;
requirements for organizing sales and the procedure for preparing technical documentation for the supply and sale of finished products;
terms of delivery, storage and shipment of the company's products;
fundamentals of labor legislation in Ukraine;
basics of management and marketing;
a list of information constituting a commercial secret of the enterprise;
prospects for technical and social development of the enterprise;
the procedure for developing and approving plans for the financial and economic activities of the enterprise;
organization of financial work at the enterprise, logistics, transport services;
organization of loading and unloading operations;
requirements and procedure for working with a PC, accounting for the current turnover of the enterprise;
rules of internal labor regulations;
standards and requirements for labor protection, fire safety and industrial sanitation;
requirements for environmental protection.

II. Official duties

Deputy director of retail trade:

Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements, taking into account the specialization of the stores’ activities, established by state standards, sanitary and fire safety rules.
Organize, plan and coordinate the activities of retail facility personnel.
Ensure the timely implementation of quarterly and annual plans by subordinate managers of structural units.
Monitor the rational use of material, financial and human resources.
Conduct negotiations related to supplies, orders and sales of goods within your competence.
Analyze sales results, develop and implement measures aimed at achieving sales plans.
Submit proposals for the appointment, transfer and dismissal of store employees (managers) from their positions to the director of the enterprise for consideration.
Develop and implement the necessary methods for stimulating and motivating retail store personnel.
Organize and control the work of accountable structural units.
Organize marketing research in the market of goods and services.
Monitor the implementation of the sales plan.
Participate in the development of marketing research plans.
Develop current and long-term plans to expand the trading activities of the enterprise.
Monitor the fulfillment of obligations to supply products to retail stores (nomenclature, quantity, assortment, quality, timing and other delivery conditions).
Submit reports in the appropriate form on the work done to the director of the enterprise in a timely manner.
Participate in and initiate scheduled and unscheduled inspections of the work of your department.
Timely submit reports to the director of the enterprise on the results of inspections.

III. Rights

The Deputy Director for Retail Trade has the right to:

Represent the company in negotiations with partners at meetings and conferences;
Receive information necessary for work from heads of structural divisions and performers;
Prepare a presentation to the director of the enterprise for the reception and dismissal of subordinate workers;
Impose administrative penalties, in accordance with the Labor Code of Ukraine, on employees of your department;
Collaborate with leaders at your level;
Issue orders and instructions within its competence;
Make proposals to senior management to improve work related to the responsibilities provided for in this Job Description.

IV. A responsibility

The Vice President of Retail is responsible for:

The quality and timeliness of fulfillment of the duties assigned to him by this Job Description;
Non-disclosure of information constituting the commercial secret of the enterprise;
High-quality work of subdivisions subordinate to him;
Compliance with the rules of internal labor regulations;
Compliance with instructions and requirements for labor protection, fire safety and industrial sanitation.

A tan appears because ultraviolet stimulates the synthesis of melanin, a dark-colored pigment that must absorb ultraviolet radiation, preventing it from penetrating deeper and harming the deeper layers of the skin. But the skin will still receive some harm: the DNA in the cells will be damaged, and it remains only to hope for molecular repair enzymes that will correct these damages and prevent cell death or, even worse, the transformation of cells into cancerous ones.

However, life is simply not sweet for many without a tan, and they still go out into the sun again and again or go to the solarium. Is it possible to get tanned skin without being exposed to dangerous ultraviolet radiation? Researchers at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Dana and Farber Cancer Institute say it is possible.

A few years ago, experts experimented with mice that were unable to synthesize melanin - such animals had a mutation in the genome that turned off pigment synthesis. But at the same time, it was found that a substance called forskolin could trigger the synthesis of melanin, bypassing the mutation, so that there was enough melanin to protect mice from the unpleasant effects of ultraviolet radiation.

However, at the same time it turned out that forskolin is useless for humans: compared to mice, our skin is thicker, and the substance simply does not penetrate to a sufficient depth. However, the researchers were able to find another compound - more specifically, a whole class of compounds that are similar in action to forskolin and that are effective on human skin. Cells have special enzymes, abbreviated as SIK, on which the activity of genes that control melanin synthesis depends. Scientists have studied molecules that inhibit the activity of SIK proteins, thereby activating pigment synthesis. The specific molecular mechanism is different than with forskolin, but the end result is the same: a UV-free tan.

Before any drugs with "tanning molecules" appear on the market, you need to make sure that they will not have any oncological and generally any harmful effects.
