I. General Provisions

The CEO belongs to the category "Leaders".
Appointment to the position of General Director and dismissal from it is made _______ in compliance with the requirements of the Labor Code of Ukraine and the current labor legislation.
Must know:

the current legislation of Ukraine regulating entrepreneurial activity;
regulatory legal acts and documents on state regulation of the functioning of trade enterprises and the sale of food and non-food products;
categories and types of standards, normative and technical documentation for the certification of goods and services in trade;
the procedure for the implementation of export-import operations for the purchase, supply, storage, transportation, sale of food and non-food products;
legal framework for ensuring the quality and safety of food products and food raw materials for public health;
international trade law,
norms and documents of international organizations on trade activities;
market system of management: credit-banking and financial mechanisms, state tax policy and insurance system, etc.;
the basics of organizing the work of stock exchanges and banking institutions;
strategic goals and tactics of behavior of associations of trade enterprises in the domestic and foreign markets;
methods of complex diagnostics of financial and economic activity;
methods for forecasting and developing a development strategy for the association of trade enterprises as a whole and its constituent parts;
modern computer systems for data processing, complex diagnostics of financial and economic activities;
psychological and ethical aspects of negotiation;
sociology of the organization and psychological aspects of the work of labor collectives;
scientific foundations for the management, regulation and coordination of the activities of employees in positions of the lowest level;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
fundamentals of the general theory of systems of cooperation and forecasting;
modern theories and methods of strategic marketing, management, logistics;
fundamentals of financial management and accounting;

Qualification requirements:

complete higher education in the relevant field of study (master, specialist) in one of the areas of study "Economics and Entrepreneurship", "Management", "Trade";
postgraduate education in the field of management (with the exception of the direction of training "Management");
work experience in the professions of lower-level managers in the field of trade: for a master - at least 3 years, for a specialist - at least 5 years.

II. Official duties

CEO:

Carries out management of all types of activity of association of trade enterprises.
Organizes and coordinates the work and interaction of all enterprises of the association, aimed at obtaining, marketing and selling goods (products), servicing customers, providing auxiliary and after-sales services, accelerating the distribution of goods, reducing distribution costs and increasing the profitability of the enterprise.
Analyzes and evaluates the problems and trends in the development of socio-economic processes in Ukraine and individual sectors of the economy.
Models market situations, solves specific economic and financial tasks of the functioning of the association of trade enterprises in the domestic and foreign markets.
Solves the issues of diagnostics and improvement of the efficiency of the financial and economic activities of the association as a whole, functional divisions.
Develops recommendations for improving forecasting, analytical, planning, financial, economic activities.
Constantly improves professional qualifications.
Plans the time of working meetings and establishes their rules.
Resolves issues within the limits of the rights granted to him, entrusts the performance of certain organizational and economic functions to other relevant officials.
Ensures the introduction of economic and administrative methods of management, material and moral incentives to improve the efficiency of management.
Ensures compliance with the law, the active use of legal controls, strengthening contractual discipline and accounting.

III. Rights

The General Director has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to the performance of his duties.
Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor about all those identified in the course of his activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
Require the management of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The General Director is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation on labor of Ukraine.

Cloak of invisibility aligns magnetic fields 05.04.2012

European researchers from Slovakia and Spain have created a device that allows you to hide the static magnetic field of an object. The invention can be widely used in military affairs and medicine.

The device consists of a permanent magnet and a coil to which current is applied. The device consists of a two-layer hollow cylinder. The inner layer is made of a superconducting material that repels the magnetic field, while the outer layer is made of a ferromagnet that has its own magnetic field. When the device is placed in a magnetic field, it causes the magnetic lines of force to wrap around a hollow cylinder, masking whatever is inside. Thus, everything inside the cylinder is hidden from the magnetic detectors.

The device allows you to mask various objects, such as objects that distort the image of medical tomographs or scanners for security systems at airports. If, however, the cylinder is scaled up to the size of a light submarine hull, then it can be made invisible to magnetic detectors, which can be used to reliably detect even a submarine lying on the ground. In the military sphere, the new device can also be useful for protecting complex electronic equipment from interference and electromagnetic weapons.

In medicine, such a device is especially useful, since various implants, such as pacemakers, make it very difficult to scan with an magnetic resonance imaging scanner. In this regard, the masking cylinder is an ideal tool for protection against electromagnetic interference.

The new device is made from commercially available materials and can operate in strong magnetic fields and with common coolants like liquid nitrogen.
