I. General Provisions

The main task of the nurse in the physiotherapy room is to conduct group and individual sessions of physiotherapy exercises with patients.
The appointment and dismissal of a nurse in the physiotherapy room is carried out by the chief physician of the polyclinic in the prescribed manner.
The physical therapy room nurse reports to the physiotherapist.
In her work, the nurse of the physical therapy room is guided by the orders of the physiotherapist, the internal regulations for this Job Description.

II. Official duties

Prepare the premises (gym room, gymnastic items, equipment, etc.) for classes with patients.
Calculate the pulse rate of the patients involved before and after exercise therapy.
Conduct group and individual sessions with patients:

when conducting group classes, to carry out a demonstration of physical exercises and insurance when they are performed by patients, monitor the performance of physical exercises by patients and exercise tolerance;
when conducting individual classes with patients with severe disorders, help the patient to take the correct position, help with active exercises; carry out passive exercises, combining them with individual massage techniques, carefully monitor the tolerance of patients to classes.

Conduct classes on mechanotherapeutic devices, correctly install the affected limbs on the device, monitor the correct performance of exercises by patients and their well-being.
Give patients recommendations for morning hygienic exercises, physiotherapy exercises and other forms of physical culture at home.
To draw up schemes of therapeutic exercises and complexes of physical exercises for patients in a differentiated way, taking into account the nosological form of the disease, the severity of the course of the pathological process and the physical fitness of the patient.
Maintain primary medical documentation with established forms.
Systematically improve professional qualifications.
Carry out sanitary and educational work among patients on issues of physical culture.
Follow the principles of deontology.

III. Rights

The nurse of the physiotherapy room has the right to:

demand from patients compliance with internal regulations, as well as the implementation of medical prescriptions;
master a related specialty;
improve their skills in the workplace, advanced training courses in the prescribed manner;
in the absence of a doctor, take urgent and urgent measures to provide medical care to patients;
supervise the work of junior office staff;
present the requirements of the administration to create the necessary conditions at the workplace, ensuring the high-quality performance of their duties;
take part in meetings (meetings) when discussing the work of the office of physiotherapy exercises.

IV. A responsibility

The Physiotherapy Nurse is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
