I. General Provisions

The head of the transport service of the enterprise belongs to the category of managers.
A person with a higher professional (technical) education and work experience in the profile of at least 3 years or a secondary vocational (technical) education and work experience in organizing transport services for the enterprise for at least 5 years is appointed to the position of the head of the transport service of the enterprise.
Appointment to the position of the head of the transport service and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the head of the enterprise on the proposal of _______.
The head of the transport service of the enterprise must know:

resolutions, orders, orders, other governing and regulatory documents of higher and other bodies relating to the activities of the transport service;
Charter of road transport;
device, purpose, design features, technical and operational data of the rolling stock;
rules for the technical operation of the rolling stock of motor vehicles;
technology and organization of maintenance and repair of vehicles;
rules for the carriage of goods;
technical conditions for loading and securing cargo;
rules for registration (including customs) of transported goods;
norms of downtime of vehicles and containers under cargo operations;
safety regulations and industrial sanitation during loading and unloading operations;
standards for the conditions of transportation and packaging of goods;
the procedure for keeping records and reporting on rolling stock and operational materials;
rules for the operation of computer technology and communications;
Traffic Laws;
basics of labor organization;
fundamentals of labor legislation;
rules of internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The head of the transport service of the enterprise reports directly. (deputy director of the enterprise for commercial issues; head of the sales department; head of the logistics department; other official).
During the absence of the head of the transport service of the enterprise (illness, vacation, business trip, etc.), his duties are performed by his deputy (in the absence of such a person appointed in the prescribed manner), who is responsible for their proper performance.

II. Official duties

Head of transport service of the enterprise:

Develops annual, quarterly, monthly and operational schedules of transportation based on plans for obtaining materials, raw materials and shipment of finished products, taking into account the production plans of the enterprise.
Organizes the introduction of centralized interorganizational and intraorganizational transportation.
Determines the need and makes calculations for the vehicles necessary for the enterprise, handling equipment, repair equipment, spare parts.
Manages the transfer of material resources to the warehouses of the enterprise and the transfer of finished products to the warehouses of buyers.
Organizes control over the rational use of vehicles in accordance with the established norms of their carrying capacity and capacity.
Organizes reference and information work in the service on incoming and outgoing goods, delivery times, conditions of transportation and other issues of transportation, loading and unloading and commercial operations.
Organizes, corrects and controls the implementation of operational plans for loading, unloading and centralized delivery and export of goods for a day and a shift.
Develops, implements and monitors the implementation of measures to ensure the reduction of transport downtime for cargo operations, the increase in throughput and the rational use of warehouses, sites and access routes for vehicles, the rational use of loading and unloading machines, mechanisms and vehicles.
Manages the development and controls the implementation of measures to eliminate and prevent the loss and damage of goods during transportation, loading, unloading, sorting and storage.
Ensures the proper maintenance of loading and unloading areas, car entrances, weighing devices and other means of control.
Supervises and achieves compliance with production and labor discipline by employees of the service, their implementation of job descriptions, rules and regulations on labor protection, safety, industrial sanitation and fire safety.
Manages service workers.

III. Rights

The head of the transport service of the enterprise has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the enterprise management regarding the transport support of the enterprise.
Submit proposals to improve the transport support of the enterprise for consideration by the management.
Interact with the heads of all (individual) structural divisions of the enterprise.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Make proposals to reward distinguished employees or impose penalties on violators of production and labor discipline.
Require the administration of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The head of the transport service of the enterprise is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
