I. General Provisions

The electrician of communication and radiofication belongs to the category of specialists.
A person with a professional education is appointed to the position of a communications and radio electrician.
Appointment to the position and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the director of the institute.
A communication and radio electrician must know:

schematic diagrams of serviced equipment and apparatus;
power transmission schemes and signaling schemes;
procedure and methods for measuring and testing channels and wires;
switching principles and protection devices;
general information about air and cable communication lines;
instructions for the current repair and prevention of relays, finders, keys;
test methods and adjustments of the used apparatus and equipment;
the main types of possible damage and ways to eliminate them;
the procedure for drawing up schematic diagrams for new prototypes of devices and equipment, automation and communication facilities;
rules for the technical operation of equipment;
safety regulations and fire protection and labor protection.

The communication and radio electrician reports directly to the chief engineer-manager of the SEZ.

II. Official duties

Communication and radio electrician:

Provides trouble-free and reliable operation of communication devices.
It studies the operating conditions of devices, identifies the causes of premature wear, and takes measures to prevent and eliminate them.
Controls the correct operation of communication devices, etc.
Carries out daily preventive maintenance and checks of serviced equipment, instruments and apparatus.
Detects damages in the serviced equipment and eliminates them.
It replaces faulty equipment and apparatus, blocks it, adjusts faulty telephone relays, checks and terminates cords, etc.
Carries out the assembly and adjustment of individual units of start-stop devices.
Carries out scheduled preventive maintenance of switching devices TT, AT, PS (keys, finders, cords, etc.), performs work on the installation of equipment (terminals AT, PS, ventilation and electrical installations).
Performs current repairs and all types of preventive maintenance in serviced equipment and equipment.

III. Rights

The communication and radio electrician has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the institute's management regarding its activities.
On issues within its competence, to submit proposals for the consideration of the institute's management on improving the activities of the institute and improving the forms and methods of labor in the field of its labor activity.
To request, on behalf of his immediate supervisor, from the heads of departments of the institute and specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of their duties.
Require the administration of the enterprise to assist in the performance of their duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The communications and radio equipment electrician is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description, within the limits determined by the labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
