A spray gun plays a decisive role in applying a color coating. I have tried many of them over twenty years, but none completely satisfied me. That is why in the end I had to take up the design myself. I took the commercially available spray gun "Shine" as a basis, finalizing some of its details and making some new ones. But in principle, the device can be completely made by yourself; all its elements are quite simple.

I bored the spray gun body on a lathe according to the dimensions of the new adapter from D16T. The adapter is screwed into the body and fixed in it with epoxy glue. Nozzle and nozzle - brass, chrome-plated. For the adjusting needle, OBC wire O 2 mm was required; I sharpened one of its ends, and cut an M2 thread on the other - when assembling the mechanism, two nuts are screwed onto it, with which the paint supply is regulated.

The container for paint is hinged to the spray gun, which allows you to cover both vertically and horizontally located surfaces. This innovation makes it possible to qualitatively mow small inscriptions and edging onto the model elements.

The container itself is a translucent polyethylene bottle with a volume of about 100 ml. It is convenient in that you can visually monitor the level of paint.

The optimal pressure of the supplied air is 1,3-1,5 atm., however, the spray gun works quite satisfactorily from a vacuum cleaner.

All-electric all-terrain vehicle Bollinger B1 03.08.2017

Total electrification has come to real SUVs. The first production electric all-terrain vehicle may well be the American Bollinger B1.

The total power of the electric motors is 367 horsepower, and the torque is 640 Nm. The B97 accelerates from zero to 1 km/h in just 4,5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 204 km/h. Batteries can be charged in 7,3 or 12,1 hours, depending on capacity.
