A picture familiar to everyone and typical for most courtyards of residential microdistricts: instead of equipped children's playgrounds, there is a traditional sandbox with no less traditional "mushroom", at best two or three tubular "spiders" for climbing. That is why the guys are looking for other places for games: entrances, covered playgrounds of kindergartens, shaded gazebos.

True, in some courtyards and parks you can see the so-called "fairy-tale towns": huts on chicken legs, fantastic wooden figures. But in such elements of improvement, despite their external attractiveness, as a rule, the main thing is missing - functionality.

It is very rare to find playgrounds where small-scale architecture is not only decoration, but also life, whose name is a game. However, the large amount of work associated with the design and construction of such facilities, their high cost is the main brake on the development of integrated solutions for yards.

However, there is a way out - by the efforts of the residents themselves, with the help of housing maintenance offices, to make interesting play structures for children from available materials.

The proposed designs are assembled from standard elements, which in various combinations create multifunctional items for games, designed in a single architectural style.

The main material used in construction is boards with sections of 50x150 mm and 30x150 mm. The main bearing parts are assembled from the thicker ones, and the thin ones serve as additional connections and decorative trim.

Game designs.

The main structural elements here are vertical triangular frames, which are two inclined racks, tied at the bottom with lags. All connections are made with M10 bolts. The finished frames are installed parallel to each other and temporarily fixed in this position. Then begin the installation of the flooring along the logs. In places where a ladder is provided, the logs are shortened to the outside of the inclined racks. The transverse rigidity of the structures is provided by the crossbars of the Swedish wall or the roof boards.

The construction of the roof should begin from below, since each upper board partially overlaps the previous one, providing a drain. The overlap is completed with two ridge boards.

The crossbars of the Swedish wall are made of steel two-inch pipes, which are embedded in the boards of inclined racks without additional flanges and fasteners. To do this, six cuts 150 mm deep are made along the axis of the pipe, dividing the end into six petals. Before installing the pipe into the hole, three petals located at an angle of 120 ° are bent, and the remaining three are passed through the hole and bent from the outside. For reliable fixation, a wooden cork is hammered into the pipe.

The slide is assembled from boards with a section of 30X150 mm, knocked down into a shield. On the sides, fencing boards are attached to it, providing longitudinal rigidity. For better sliding, it is advisable to cover the slope plane with linoleum or other sheet material.

The balancing swing is made of two boards with a section of 50X150 mm, connected by planks. In the middle part, a U-shaped bar is reinforced. An axis passes through its holes - a steel pipe fixed on the logs.

Such a set of parts is sufficient for the manufacture of various small architectural forms for the equipment of children's playgrounds. Here are some of them.

The Swedish wall complex is assembled from three vertical frames with shortened lags and flooring. Below the flooring, the inclined racks are connected by crossbars in all three frames, and above only in pairs. Unconnected racks form the entrance to the site.

The house with a slide and a Swedish wall is assembled from three frames, two of which are covered with boards, and the remaining one is connected to the middle ridge boards and crossbars of short Swedish walls. From the side of the house, a slide is installed.

A one-sided slide with a canopy and a Swedish wall consists of three frames with a flooring - a slide slide is cut into it. There is a staircase nearby. The opposite wall is upholstered with boards and equipped with a Swedish wall.

The labyrinth slide is a four-frame structure, centrally symmetrical in plan. It is equipped with two slides, a roof, stairs. Internal partitions form a kind of labyrinth.

Balance swing - the smallest play element, consisting of two frames, a small roof and a balance beam with an axle.

A sandbox with a canopy is somewhat different from its counterparts in the design of the frames. They have no logs and flooring. Instead, the extreme frames are connected in the longitudinal direction with four-meter boards that serve as a fence, and in the transverse direction - with benches mounted on special supports.

All the proposed structures, except for the sandbox, can be combined into a play complex or groups of play elements. In this case, it is advisable to work a little with the ground: lay paths or pour artificial hills using available materials (sand or gravel).

Finishing of finished structures - with waterproof varnish, and preferably with enamel paints of spectral colors. At the same time, it should be borne in mind that it is preferable to paint large planes in the colors of the yellow-red sector of the color wheel, then they will stand out against the background of the earth, greenery and surrounding buildings, and the post-and-beam parts in blue-green colors. In addition, in the overall design, you can use supergraphics, that is, artificial division of planes using color.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>
