How are silent discotheques held?

Since 2000, silent discos have been gaining more and more popularity - especially where there are bans on loud music after a certain hour. Each participant is given special headphones to which an audio signal is transmitted wirelessly, that is, an observer from the side will see only a crowd of people dancing in silence. Often, in this format, several DJs or live music bands work at the same venue at once, competing for the attention of the public, whose headphones are equipped with a signal switching function.
