Meaning: It is cited as an ironic commentary on the position of a person who denies the humanistic value of culture and its social role.

Origin: Erroneously attributed to Goering, Goebbels and others. From the play "SchlaGöter" (1933) by the German poet, playwright and National Socialist Hans Jost (1890-1978). Its protagonist is the young German Albert Leo Schlageter, a Nazi who in 1923 was executed by the French, who occupied the Ruhr after the First World War, for sabotaging the Düsseldorf-Duisburg railway. Thus, fingerprints can be used to establish nationality with high accuracy and trace the connection with ancestors. At the same time, anthropologists managed to identify all the differences thanks to the forensic method. In the future, scientists plan to continue research on a larger sample of people; the discovery may be useful in anthropology to study the history of various populations.
