Meaning: Proposal to end the protracted meeting.

Origin: The words of the head of the security of the Tauride Palace, sailor Anatoly Grigorievich Zheleznyakov (1895-1919), addressed to the chairman of the Constituent Assembly V. M. Chernov on the night of January 5-6, 1918, when it was dissolved by the Bolsheviks (by decision of V. I. Lenin and commissioner P. E. Dybenko).
