The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers.

Panasonic has announced the ToughPad FZ-Q1 tablet, made in a case with increased protection against external influences.
In the maximum configuration, the computer is equipped with an Intel Core i5-4302Y processor. This vPro-enabled chip has two compute cores clocked at 1,6 GHz and dynamically boosted up to 2,3 GHz. The integrated Intel HD graphics 4200 controller is busy processing graphics.
The tablet received a 12,5-inch Full HD touchscreen display (1920 × 1080 pixels) with the ability to recognize up to ten simultaneous touches. The amount of RAM DDR3L-1333 is up to 8 GB. As a drive, a solid-state module with a capacity of 128 or 256 GB is used.
The equipment includes Wi-Fi 802.11a / b / g / n / ac and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless adapters, a GPS satellite navigation system receiver and a 4G module (optional) for working in fourth-generation LTE mobile networks. Among other things, we can mention a USB 3.0 port, a MicroSDXC reader, a 2-megapixel front camera and an 8-megapixel camera on the back of the case.
Windows 8.1 Pro operating system is installed on the tablet. Sales will start in March. The price will be from 1000 to 1700 US dollars.
