EFFECTIVE FOCUSES AND THEIR CLUES Fantastic laces. Focus secret Directory / Spectacular tricks and their clues Focus Description: The magician borrows two rings from the audience. Having handed over a pencil to one of the spectators, the magician shows the audience two ordinary shoelaces. These laces are securely tied around the pencil. Both rings are put on the laces and secured in place with a regular knot. Although the spectator holds the ends of the laces in his hands, the magician forces the rings to magically pass through the laces and releases them. Focus secret: For the trick you need two shoelaces, a pencil and two rings. The props do not require special preparation, therefore, you can always show this trick "impromptu" at any time. 1. First, borrow two rings from the audience. Then invite the viewer to take hold of the opposite ends of the pencil with their fingers. After that, hang two shoelaces on the pencil. From now on, we will refer to them as lace A and lace B. 2. The spectator still holds both ends of the pencil, and you grasp both ends of cord A with your left hand and both ends of cord B with your right. Now tie the two ends of Lace A and the two ends of Lace B with a simple single overhand knot. 3. Pull the knot tight and ask the viewer to release the ends of the pencil. Flip the laces over so that they are parallel to the floor and the pencil is held vertically by the laces. Tighten the laces on the pencil so tightly that it does not slip out of them. Then pass the ends of the laces to the viewer. 4. Draw the attention of the audience to the two borrowed rings and put them on the shoelaces, each ring on one side of the pencil. Be sure to thread the two ends of lace A into one ring, and the two ends of lace B into the other. 5. Now you should fasten the rings to the laces. Take one end of lace A and one end of lace B in your hands. Tie these ends with a simple single knot with an overlap. You will notice that when tying, you overlap end A with end B. Which of the two ends of A or the two ends of B you take for tying does not matter. Just make sure one end goes to Shoe A and the other end to Shoe B, meaning they come from opposite sides of the pencil. 6. Tighten this new knot tight. The rings will be pressed against the pencil. Now pass the ends to the viewer so that he holds everything together. 7. Grasp the knot on the pencil with your right hand. Grasp the pencil at the bottom end with your left hand and prepare to pull it out of the knot. 8. Holding the knot firmly with your right hand, pull the pencil out of the laces with your left hand. 9. Now pass the pencil through the rings. 10. Invite the viewer to pull on the ends of the shoelaces. At the same moment, release the knot you were holding with your right hand. The impression is that the rings went through the laces. 11. The viewer was left with only laces in his hands, and rings - on a pencil. Invite the audience to check everything immediately and thankfully return the rings to the audience they belong to.
