Focus Description:

Place three small cubes one on top of the other at a 45° angle. Take an empty case and, turning it, cover the entire pyramid of cubes with it. When you remove the case, there will be only two cubes in front of the audience. There will be no cube in the case either - it has mysteriously disappeared!

Focus secret:

Three cubes and a case are involved in the trick. The dimensions of the two extreme cubes are 8 x 8 x 8 cm, and the middle one is 7 x 7 x 7 cm. The upper cube does not have a bottom. The base of the case is 9 x 9 cm, and its height should be equal to the height of three cubes stacked on top of each other, that is, 8 + 8 + 7 cm.

Focus Disappearing Cube

When you cover the cubes, rotate the top cube along the axis until it fits in the pyramid on the middle cube along with the case. Then, in exactly the same way, put the case on the lower cube. It is clear that now, when you remove the case, only two cubes will remain visible.
