Beets are the most dangerous vegetable

Most often, we are afraid to buy a watermelon or melon with a high content of nitrates. And few people suspect that ordinary table beets can accumulate the most harmful substances!

“Beets belong to the haze family and can accumulate a lot of nitrates,” says Zinoviy Sych, head of the Department of Vegetable Growing at the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine. we don’t poison ourselves, therefore we eat a little, moreover, almost never raw. But with this vegetable, especially if the beets are early, one must be extremely careful.”

It is known that for an adult, the daily norm of nitrates, which will not lead to poisoning, should not exceed 700 mg, and for children - 150-200 mg.

In order not to buy nitrate beets, experts advise choosing small vegetables. And also pay attention to the veins inside, they should be saturated red, and in no case white.

In addition to beets, radishes, leafy greens, spinach, dill, and parsley can accumulate large amounts of nitrates.

Smartphone with infinite memory 18.02.2016

Startup Nextbit has started selling a smartphone with "infinite" memory Robin on its website. The novelty is available in two colors: mint and dark gray. The cost is $399. Additionally, various accessories are offered - from a film on the screen to a bumper and charger.

Nextbit Robin determines which data the user accesses the least and transfers it from the smartphone to the Nextbit cloud, freeing up space in the mobile device's memory. This check is performed constantly, and if the owner starts to request data from the cloud more often, they are returned to local storage.

Thus, Robin dynamically distributes the user's data between the device's memory and cloud storage so that, firstly, the device's memory is not cluttered, and, secondly, the user always has access to the necessary data and does not have to be downloaded from clouds at the most inopportune moment, as is often the case, for example, on the Apple iPhone.

The developers claim that synchronization with the cloud in the Nextbit Robin is implemented at the operating system level, so Robin is able to offer more opportunities than other devices on the market in this regard. The Nextbit OS firmware, based on Android, is responsible for dynamic synchronization.

Nextbit Robin is equipped with a 5,2-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, covered with Gorilla Glass 4, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory. The resolution of the main camera is 13 MP. It is equipped with phase detection autofocus and dual flash with LEDs of different shades. Front camera resolution - 5 MP.
