According to calculations by astronomer Olivier de Viron of the Belgian Royal Observatory, global warming will be accompanied by a lengthening of the day.

A one percent increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will lead to increased winds in the belt from 10 to 60 degrees of latitude in both hemispheres. Moreover, these winds will blow mainly against the direction of the Earth's rotation, slightly slowing it down.

Just a little bit - the day will lengthen by only one millionth of a second a year. It will take ten years for the most sensitive clocks to notice this elongation.

It's no secret that many people have problems sleeping and, as a result, waking up - many of us would rather stay in bed longer if it weren't for business. It is with the aim of helping such people wake up faster and not obey the alluring desire to stay in bed, a team of developers from Canada presented a new project called EzLarm, a smart electromagnetic alarm clock reminder, as part of the Kickstarter crowdfunding platform. Moreover, it is worth noting the fact that the device itself is an extremely compact device that does not require additional configuration, which makes it especially interesting for potential buyers.

The EzLarm wake-up system itself is based on the use of a special NFC tag - which is this separate device of small size and emits electromagnetic waves that are converted into sound - loud and persistent enough to wake the user up. Moreover, the device must be attached to a special stand in a separate room and connected to the phone - so that to turn off the alarm, the user gets out of bed with the phone and turns it off directly in another room.

Due to the fact that the EzLarm is based on a converter, it does not require a third-party source of electricity and is completely powered by the magnetic radiation of a smartphone - which makes it very convenient and promising to use, since few third-party developers in general can offer something similar. In addition, the EzLarm system is supported by all mobile devices, whether on the Android or iOS operating system.
