Continuing the review on antennas of the type Delta, which was launched earlier on the basis of the questions and explanations received, in particular, attention will be paid to antennas for the multi-band version and located at a low suspension height, as well as devices for their coordination with the cable industry with standard coaxial cables commonly used by radio amateurs such as RK50 and RK75.

On fig. 1 shows the Delta antenna the upper edge of which is at a height of only 17 meters.

Overview of Delta-2 Antennas
Fig. 1

To match the antenna and obtain its multi-range, a matching ladder 10,3 meters long and 10 cm wide was used, the material from which the antenna and the ladder were made - copper wire with a diameter of 1,5 - 2,0 mm. To match ladder with RK50 cable applied cable balun RK75 having - 10 turns of cable arranged turn to turn with a diameter of - 20 cm, the total length of the cable segment is - 6,95 m. The antenna works fine on the ranges of 80-40 meters. When recalculating, it can work with such a matching system on other ranges.

On fig. 2 shows the antenna "Delta" which is matched with the RK50 coaxial cable using a matching transformer with a ratio of input and output impedances of 1:4.

Overview of Delta-2 Antennas
Fig. 2

The number of turns of this transformer is 7 turns of each of the windings, the tap is made from the middle. The connection diagram of the windings is shown in Fig.2. The antenna is suspended at a height of 18,3 meters.

The antenna shown in fig. 3 is located horizontally on the ground and has the shape of a square with equal sides.

Overview of Delta-2 Antennas
Fig. 3

This antenna is characterized by a low suspension height, which allows it to be used where it is not possible to suspend antennas not vertically and not at an angle. Due to the low height of the suspension, the input impedance of the antenna has a different resistance on the ranges, which makes it difficult to use it as one antenna in a multi-band version, but for each range the antenna made and matched according to the proposed scheme works fine, but it naturally has all the disadvantages of low-lying antennas .

Overview of Delta-2 Antennas

The table below shows the dimensions of the sides of the antenna. according to the ranges and length of the matching piece of cable RK75 Ohm The antenna fabric can be made of copper wire with a diameter of 1,5-2 mm.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Singing can increase life expectancy 03.01.2021

Scientists have said that singing can increase life expectancy by lowering blood pressure and promoting brain health. Singing also reduces the risk of dementia and helps fight depression. This discovery was made by experts from Yale and Harvard universities, USA

In particular, scientists noted a higher level of intelligence among vocalists and musicians than other people. This is because singing helps to make thinking clearer by engaging and oxygenating different parts of the brain.

When a person sings, his body produces endorphins, which affect the emotional state and make you feel a sense of joy.

At the same time, the vocal data does not matter, the researchers believe: the response of the sacculus receptor, which is located in the ear and reacts to frequencies while singing, causes a feeling of satisfaction, regardless of the sound of the musical motive.
