The UPIMTST televisions in operation are equipped with SVP-4 units, which provide reception on six channels. At present this is not enough. Modernization of UPIMTST TVs by replacing SVP-4 with fifth-generation TV units providing reception on 55 channels is a rather expensive and complicated procedure.

A significantly cheaper and simpler modification of the existing SVP-4 units is proposed, which allows receiving additionally through two channels. The essence of the revision is as follows. In the scheme of the program selection device of the SVP-4 block [1], the option of switching on the binary-decimal decoder K155ID1 [2] is used, in which only the inputs A0, A1, A2 and, accordingly, the outputs Y0...Y6 are involved. In this case, reception on eight channels is possible, however, on the board, the outputs Y2, Y3 and Y6 (pins 8,9 and 10, respectively) are combined, which reduces the number of received channels to six. Therefore, if you remove the jumpers connecting pins 8, 9 and 10 of the decoder together, and connect a node, the circuit diagram of which is shown in the figure, to pins 8 and 9, it becomes possible to receive two additional channels.

Reception of eight channels on TV UIMCT

The node for selecting additional programs consists of two identical channels. Let's consider one of them. The purpose of the resistor R1 is similar to the resistors R8...R13 of the program selection device of the SVP-4 block, and the diodes VD1, VD2 and the variable resistor R2 are similar to one channel of the pre-setting device of the SVP-4 block (for example, VD14 and R61 in [1] respectively). In order to simplify and reduce the cost of refinement with a slight decrease in ease of use, the node for selecting additional programs does not have the function of indicating the selected program. For the same reasons, the range switching function is also excluded, which in the SVP-4 block is performed by switches B1 ... B6 of the presetting device. A fixed connection of the cathodes of the VD1 and VD3 diodes to the pre-setting board of the SVP-4 block is proposed - to point 22 (range II), to point 23 (range IV) or to point 24 (range III). If additional television channels belong to the I range, then the circuits of diodes VD1 and VD3 can be excluded from the circuit.

To implement the proposed revision, it is necessary:

- on the board of the program selection device of the SVP-4 block, remove the jumpers connecting together pins 8, 9 and 10 of the DD4 K155ID1 decoder;

- assemble the node for selecting additional programs and connect it according to the circuit diagram shown in the figure.

The procedure for tuning to additional channels is similar to that specified in [3]:

- set the AFC-RPCh switch [3] to the RPCh position;

- press the switch button SB1 of the node for selecting additional programs;

- make a smooth adjustment to the first additional channel using a variable resistor R2 of the node for selecting additional programs;

- press the switch button SB2 of the node for selecting additional programs;

- make a smooth adjustment to the second additional channel using a variable resistor R4 of the node for selecting additional programs;

- set the AFC-RPC switch to the AFC position.

After that, to turn on the additional channel, just press the appropriate button - SB1 or SB2.

The node uses resistors MLT-0,125 W (R1, R3) and SPZ-36 (R2, R4), diodes KD105 with any letter index or D220 (VD1 ... VD4). Switches SB1, SB2 - any small-sized, for example PKN-15.

Computer games are becoming an increasingly popular form of entertainment among teenagers, but the associated risk of gaming addiction remains a significant problem. American scientists conducted a study to determine the main factors contributing to this addiction and offer recommendations for its prevention. Over the course of six years, 385 teenagers were followed to find out what factors may predispose them to gambling addiction. The results showed that 90% of study participants were not at risk of addiction, while 10% became gambling addicts. It turned out that the key factor in the onset of gambling addiction is a low level of prosocial behavior. Siemens Gamesa wind turbine generates 359 MWh per day 16.10.2022

The prototype offshore wind turbine 14-222 DD, manufactured by the German-Spanish company Siemens Gamesa, one of the largest manufacturers of wind turbines, has set a world record for the output power obtained from a single turbine in 24 hours - 359 MWh. This would be enough for a medium-sized electric car to travel 1,8 million km.

The first electricity from the turbine was received recently, on the territory of a test center in Denmark. Rated at 14 MW and scalable up to 15 MW with Power Boost, this unit is designed for offshore installations.

By increasing the propeller diameter to 222 meters and using 108 meters of blades, the SG 14-222 DD increased its annual energy output by more than 25% compared to the previous model.

In addition, the turbine design has fewer moving parts, resulting in improved performance while maintaining reliability. And standardized production processes and a fully streamlined supply chain shorten the time to market for this model, which is scheduled for series production in 2024.
