With such a burner, it is quite possible to melt not only hard solders, but also heat treat small tools, soften glass, and melt many metals and alloys.

Let's first get acquainted with the device of the burner, and then we will analyze how it works. On fig. 1 the numbers indicate: 1 - body; 2 - sleeve with a hook; 3 - tube; 4 - emphasis; 5 - handle; 6 - rubber ring; 7 - balloon; 8 - handle; 9 - rubber pear and 10 - filler.

As you can see, many details do not need to be specially done. Rubber pear 9 - from a spray gun, two steel tubes with a diameter of 3 and 4 mm, respectively, five balloons 7 nested one inside the other, and a rubber ring 6 - prepare all this in advance.

Turn body 1 on a lathe. Material - steel of any brand. Please note: the case is composite. One end of it is open, the other is tightly closed with a cork. The plug has a hole whose diameter is 0,1 mm larger than the outer diameter of the tube. Due to this difference in size, the body moves tightly along the tube, and tightness is maintained. Inside the case, a ring 10 is installed made of slag wool and a metal mesh, which serves as a porous filler. The sleeve with hook 2 and stop 4 can be easily made from steel sheet.

The handle is easiest to cut from oak or beech wood. The two holes for the tubes should be drilled with great care so that the axes of the holes are strictly parallel. The finished handle must be treated with sandpaper and covered with 2-3 layers of colorless varnish.

The end of the tube 3, passed inside the housing, forms a nozzle. We will tell you more about how to make a nozzle. If you have hard solder PMC-54 (it adheres well to steel), you can solder the end of the tube with it, and then drill a hole with a diameter of 0,2 mm strictly along the axis of the tube. Such solder can be prepared by yourself. The solder contains zinc and copper. To obtain zinc, we will use cups from an old electric battery. Free the glass from the contents, ignite it on fire and lower it first into cold water, then into a weak solution of hydrochloric acid. Cut a clean glass with scissors into small pieces. There is zinc. It remains to get copper. It's easier: use copper wire. Anneal it on fire to remove the insulation. Finely cut the cleaned wire with scissors. Pour pieces of zinc and copper into the crucible in approximately equal amounts, sprinkle with borax. Metals can be fused on a gas burner (the melting point of such an alloy is below 900 ° C). Cool the resulting block, and then fix it in a vice and grind off a little sawdust from it with a bastard file. Mix them with borax - the solder is ready.

Assembling the burner from the parts now at your disposal is a matter of one minute. Use a pipette to fill the porous filler with alcohol, acetone or gasoline. Using a rubber bulb, inflate the container formed by five balloons. Stretched all at once, the shells of the balls squeeze the air, and the only way out for it is through a small hole in the nozzle. A trickle of air inside the body is saturated with fuel vapors. And if you now bring a lit match - a torch flares up. You can adjust the torch tongue, and hence its temperature, by turning knob 8.

Snapdragon 665, Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G mobile platforms 09.04.2019

Qualcomm announced three new chipsets for mid-range smartphones at once: Snapdragon 730, Snapdragon 730G and Snapdragon 665, in the development of which the main focus was on cameras and support for artificial intelligence.

The 8nm Snapdragon 730 is the successor to the Snapdragon 710 found in smartphones such as the Galaxy A8s and Xiaomi Mi 8 SE.
