Overview

Stabilizer input - "IN"; output - "OUT"; general - "GND" (Ground).

• The control input of an adjustable stabilizer is referred to as "ADJ" (Adjust).

• To the input (Input), as well as to the output (Output) of the stabilizer (directly at the corresponding output or near it), in order to avoid self-excitation, it is necessary to connect a capacitor with a capacitance of 47...220 nF.

• If the capacitance of the capacitor at the output of the stabilizer is very large, and the load current is small, a diode must be connected between the input and output. This solution ensures that the output voltage will very quickly decrease to the value of the input voltage.

• For reliable operation of the stabilizer, the input voltage is selected at least 3 V higher than the output voltage.

• Regulators of the "low-drop" series (with a small voltage drop between the input and output), which are not considered here, must have an input voltage that exceeds the output voltage by 0,1 ... 0,5 V for reliable stabilization.

SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS Corporation has developed a technology for the production of high-performance high-capacity chip cards (capacity of non-volatile memory 256 KB)
