Heads of regional departments of Gosenergonadzor Heads of departments of Gosenergonadzor in constituent entities of the Russian Federation First Deputy Chairman of the Board of RAO "UES of Russia".

The Land Code of the RSFSR, Article 83, provides for the obligation of enterprises, institutions and organizations in whose interests zones with special conditions for the use of land are established to mark the boundaries of these zones. By the decision of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation of July 13.07.98, 2.3.24, appropriate additions were made to the text of paragraphs 2.4.6, 2.5.15 and XNUMX of the Rules for the Installation of Electrical Installations (sixth edition) on the installation of information signs on the routes of cable lines and on the supports of overhead power lines (VL).

In connection with the appeal of RAO "UES of Russia" organizations and other departments operating overhead power lines with requests to limit the number of installed signs, Gosenergonadzor, for the period until the release of the seventh edition of the Electrical Installation Rules, proposes to be guided by the following provisions when determining the places for installing information signs on all power lines:

1. The distance between information signs should be:

  • in populated areas - no more than 250 m;
  • in an uninhabited area - no more than 500 m;
  • in hard-to-reach areas - by decision of the owner of the overhead line in places of convenient approaches to the overhead line, where people may appear.

2. Information signs should also be installed on supports closest to the intersections of overhead lines with railways and highways, oil and gas pipelines, and other engineering structures.

3. Information signs can be placed either directly on supports or on stand-alone stands 0,6-1 m high.

4. It is allowed to combine on one sign all the information established by the requirements of clause 2.4.6 and clause 2.5.15 of the PUE.

5. The dimensions of the information sign on the overhead line (including the combined one) are selected according to the condition of clear recognition of the text printed on it.

6. The dimensions of the information sign of the cable line must be at least 140 x 210 mm.

Deputy Head.

Attachment to the letter

It is recommended to make information signs for designating security zones of power lines from sheet metal or plastic material with a thickness of at least 1 mm and a size of 280x210 mm.

The information sign contains the words "Protection zone of the cable. Do not dig without a representative" (for a cable line), "Protection zone of a power transmission line" (for an overhead line), the distances from the place where the sign was installed to the boundaries of the security zone, arrows in the direction of the boundaries of the security zone , telephone number (s) of the organization that owns the line and a border 21 mm wide.

The background of the information sign is white, the border and symbols are black.

On reinforced concrete supports of overhead lines (VL), information signs can be applied directly to the concrete surface. In this case, it is allowed to use the surface of concrete as a background, and the size of the sign can be increased up to 290x300 mm.

Information signs are installed in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the power line (at the angles of rotation - along the bisector of the angle between the axes of the line sections).

For overhead lines, their installation is carried out on racks of supports at a height of 2,5-3,0 m, and for underground cable lines - on separate racks at a height of 0,6-1,0 m.

A New Way to Control and Manipulate Optical Signals 05.05.2024

The modern world of science and technology is developing rapidly, and every day new methods and technologies appear that open up new prospects for us in various fields. One such innovation is the development by German scientists of a new way to control optical signals, which could lead to significant progress in the field of photonics. Recent research has allowed German scientists to create a tunable waveplate inside a fused silica waveguide. This method, based on the use of a liquid crystal layer, allows one to effectively change the polarization of light passing through a waveguide. This technological breakthrough opens up new prospects for the development of compact and efficient photonic devices capable of processing large volumes of data. The electro-optical control of polarization provided by the new method could provide the basis for a new class of integrated photonic devices. This opens up great opportunities for ... >>

Primium Seneca keyboard 05.05.2024

Keyboards are an integral part of our daily computer work. However, one of the main problems that users face is noise, especially in the case of premium models. But with the new Seneca keyboard from Norbauer & Co, that may change. Seneca is not just a keyboard, it is the result of five years of development work to create the ideal device. Every aspect of this keyboard, from acoustic properties to mechanical characteristics, has been carefully considered and balanced. One of the key features of Seneca is its silent stabilizers, which solve the noise problem common to many keyboards. In addition, the keyboard supports various key widths, making it convenient for any user. Although Seneca is not yet available for purchase, it is scheduled for release in late summer. Norbauer & Co's Seneca represents new standards in keyboard design. Her ... >>

The world's tallest astronomical observatory opened 04.05.2024

Exploring space and its mysteries is a task that attracts the attention of astronomers from all over the world. In the fresh air of the high mountains, far from city light pollution, the stars and planets reveal their secrets with greater clarity. A new page is opening in the history of astronomy with the opening of the world's highest astronomical observatory - the Atacama Observatory of the University of Tokyo. The Atacama Observatory, located at an altitude of 5640 meters above sea level, opens up new opportunities for astronomers in the study of space. This site has become the highest location for a ground-based telescope, providing researchers with a unique tool for studying infrared waves in the Universe. Although the high altitude location provides clearer skies and less interference from the atmosphere, building an observatory on a high mountain poses enormous difficulties and challenges. However, despite the difficulties, the new observatory opens up broad research prospects for astronomers. ... >>

Portable camera with support for SD memory cards 10.01.2004

Deja View has released a portable camera Camwear Model 100 with support for Toshiba NAND Flash SD memory cards.

A compact digital camera is attached to clothes and constantly takes a panorama with a viewing angle of 60 degrees and saves it to the buffer. By pressing the record button, the last 30 seconds of video or audio are recorded to the removable storage. Video is saved at 320x240 pixel resolution in MPEG-4 30 frames per second format and saved to an SD memory card.

The Camwear Model 100 costs $400 and comes with a 64MB memory card, up to 512MB memory cards, and a 2000mAh Li-Ion battery. Phone-powder box Panasonic has released a mobile phone exclusively for ladies: the device at first glance strongly resembles an ordinary powder box.

The model was named G70 and, of course, does not pretend to be the most functional phone - there is not even support for the popular MMS service. But there is a function specifically for the fair sex: as soon as the backlight turns off, the screen turns into a mirror.

Note the characteristics of the G70: work in networks GSM 900/1800/1900 MHz; support for EMS, SMS and GRPS; polyphony for 16 voices; screen with a resolution of 128x96; talk time - 3...5 hours, standby time - up to 200 hours; dimensions - 88x60x27 mm.
