K, M - are produced within the time limits established by the PPR system.

Name of the test Type of test Test norms Directions
27.1. Insulation resistance measurement: К
1) circuits and equipment with voltage above 1000 V   Insulation resistance is not standardized The measurement is made with a megohmmeter for a voltage of 2500 V
2) circuits and equipment with voltage up to 1000 V   Resistance must be at least 1 MΩ The same, for a voltage of 1000 V
27.2. Power frequency surge test К The test voltage is taken according to factory instructions or specifications and must not be lower than 115% of the rated voltage of the test set. Test duration - 1 min. High voltage circuits of test benches, test apparatuses, dielectric loss bridges, reference capacitors and other high voltage test circuit elements are tested.
27.3. Checking the serviceability of measuring devices and test transformers К Accuracy classes and transformation ratios must comply with the passport The measurement accuracy of bridges, measuring instruments and devices is checked. The serviceability of the windings of test and instrument transformers is assessed by measuring the transformation ratio and accuracy class
27.4. Checking the operation of interlocks, signaling and protection of test facilities К All blocking devices, signaling and protection means must be in good working order and work clearly in the specified mode. 3 - 5 operations are performed to check the operation of the protective and warning elements of the test facility while simulating various modes of its operation
27.5. Checking the intensity of X-ray radiation of kenotrons of test facilities К The permissible dose rate of X-ray radiation at any accessible point of the installation at a distance of 5 - 10 cm from the surface of the protection (casing) should not exceed 0,02 nC / (g × s) (0,28 mR / hour or 0,08 μR / s) . The value of the allowable radiation dose is given on the basis of a 36-hour working week. In the case of a different duration, these values must be multiplied by a factor of 36 / t, where t is the actual duration of the working week, hour. It is carried out in those cases when, during the overhaul of the test facility, the location of the kenotrons in it was changed. Dosimetric verification of the effectiveness of protection against x-ray radiation is carried out at the highest values of voltage and current at the anode of the kenotron. The effectiveness of X-ray protection is determined by measuring the radiation dose rate with an MRM-2 microroentgenometer or a Kura dosimeter.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>
