I propose a circuit of a telephone set, which has the following distinctive properties compared to the well-known ones [1]:

- there is no high-voltage separating capacitor in the ringing device, and it is constantly connected to the telephone line loop;
- the use of K1436UN1 microcircuits (similar to MS34119) as microphone and telephone amplifiers made it possible to reduce the number of "strapping" elements of the conversational assembly to a minimum.

This phone allows you to receive a call and have a conversation. It can be used for kitchen, bathroom, etc. It can be placed in the case of a children's toy, in a toothbrush case. If desired, the scheme can be supplemented with a dialer. The ringer chip K 1436AP 1 (analogue of DBL5001/2) is included according to the standard scheme. The only difference is that the VD2 zener diode with a stabilization voltage of 82 V is included in the power circuit of the microcircuit. Thanks to it, the ringing device does not shunt the telephone line when dialing a number and during a conversational connection.

The conversation node is assembled on D2 and D3 chips. Capacitor C3 and resistor R6 - power filter for microphone BM1. C7 - blocking. The load of the D2 chip is the resistor R8. The scheme suppresses the local effect. Its adjustment is made by the resistor R9.

With stable parameters R5, VM1, R7, R8, the resistor R9 can be replaced by two fixed resistors. The signal value for the phone BF1 is set by the resistor R10. Chip D3 is powered by a parametric stabilizer R6-VD5-C5. Capacitor C8 - blocking.

Because of its simplicity and good repeatability, this scheme can be used to improve older telephone sets.

Note. In the diagram, pin 7 of D2 must be connected to pin 6 of D3. Resistor R6 is not included in the parametric stabilizer circuit (as erroneously indicated in the text).

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Trash sensor 10.06.2005

Norwegian engineers have come up with a cheap sensor for sorting garbage.

In each country, the problem of sorting garbage is solved in its own way. In our country, for example, people of free professions, who have taken root near landfills, are engaged in this business. But, say, in Norway they come up with machine guns. A simple and reliable device is needed for sorting packages of various materials.

It was the engineers who made it from the commercialization of Sintef technologies. This spectrometer (which, with all the necessary electronics, costs one and a half hundred euros) is as simple as a CD covered with a thin layer of gold. A hologram is imprinted on its surface, which forms a beam of light.

This beam is then either reflected from the material under study or passes through it, and the instrument software analyzes the change in the spectrum and determines the type of material from it. As a result, it is possible to recognize seven types of plastics, find out the color of glass, and also distinguish an aluminum jar from a steel one.

In the sorting machine, each type of waste will fall into the shredder designed for it, and then into the appropriate container. The Norwegians have already delivered the first prototype of the car in the English Tesco department stores.
