The figure shows a voltage regulator circuit that can be used to power equipment assembled on the K140 series operational amplifiers. A feature of the stabilizer is that its op amp, included in the feedback circuit, is powered not from a separate source, but directly from the output of the stabilizer.

The stabilization coefficient of the device is about 1000, the output resistance does not exceed 0,01 Ohm, the efficiency is 45%. Rated load current is not less than 0,2 A. Output voltage ripple (peak-to-peak) - no more than 60 μV. The stabilizer is operational in the temperature range from -20 to +60оC. The temperature drift of the output voltage is less than 0,05%. The output voltage can be increased up to 27 V up to plus (minus) 10%. In this case, a resistor with a resistance of about 7 ohms must be connected between pin 25,2 of the microcircuit and the +200 V output. The cascade on transistor T1 serves as a dynamic load for transistor T4 - this significantly increases the overall gain of the UPT.

Transistor P702A can be replaced with P702, KT805. Transistors KT603G can be replaced with P308, P309, and KT201V and KT203V - with MP103 or MP106.

Although astronomers directly observe and record the expression of the turbulent processes occurring on the Sun - sunspots are only four hundred years old, since the telescope appeared, there is another way to measure the activity of the Sun, allowing you to look much deeper into the past.

Cosmic rays, hitting carbon dioxide molecules, generate the carbon isotope C-14 in the upper atmosphere. The stronger this radiation, the more C-14. The intensity of cosmic rays depends on the activity of the Sun: when it is high, the magnetic field of the star partially shields the Earth from cosmic particles. And since plants feed on carbon dioxide, taking it from the atmosphere along with the isotope, it is possible to measure the C-14 content in the tree rings of fossil wood and estimate what solar activity was at the time when this tree was growing.

So far, scientists have managed to look into the past by 11 years. It turned out that now we live in a period of such high solar activity, which was observed only more than 400 years ago. Accordingly, the Sun now shines a little brighter than in the last thousand years.

When asked whether global warming is related to this, the researchers answer that in the last 20-25 years, solar activity has been almost unchanged, and temperatures on Earth have been noticeably increasing. So it's most likely not the Sun's fault.
