The proposed design, the schematic diagram of which is shown in the figure, is used to change the color of the sound of an electric guitar. The sinusoidal signal in this device is limited to a signal close to rectangular pulses.

The stage on the operational amplifier OZ1a of IC1, which has a variable gain, increases the amplitude of the input signal. Capacitor C13 suppresses the higher harmonics of the signal, passing the lower harmonics. Direct signal limitation is carried out using diodes D1-D4, included in the feedback circuit of transistors T1 and T2. With a lower gain of the input amplifying stage, the signal clipping will be less and vice versa. Tone color (content of higher harmonics) is regulated by potentiometer P3. The cascade on the operational amplifier OZ1b of IC1 provides a low output impedance of the device and the necessary signal level at its output.

This device is powered by a 9 V battery with a current consumption (without diode D6) of 1 mA. The TL1 type microcircuit, which has a low current consumption, was chosen as the IC062 chip. To control the state of the battery, as well as to ensure that the musician does not forget to turn off the device, a diode D6 can be connected to the power circuit, which should also have a low operating current.

Due to the small number of parts used, the device can be placed in any suitable housing. The voltage switch can be mechanically connected to one of the potentiometers.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

JVC 4KCAM cameras 20.05.2015

JVC Kenwood has unveiled a new line of 4KCAM products: the GY-LS300 Super 35mm sensor camcorder, the versatile GY-HM200 4K Ultra HD camera with HD streaming, and the compact and affordable GY-HM170 4K Ultra HD camcorder. .

The GY-LS300 camcorder is designed for cinematographers, documentaries and broadcasters. It is equipped with a Super 35 mm CMOS sensor and is designed for interchangeable lenses, for which an MFT (Micro Four Thirds) mount is provided. And Variable Scan Mapping technology maintains the native angle of view found on various PL- and EF-mount lenses. This gives filmmakers the ability to use a wide range of MFT lenses with this camera, as well as high-end cinema lenses using commercially available adapters.

The GY-LS300 camcorder and GY-HM200 camera are equipped with the function of streaming HD video via Wi-Fi and 3G/4G connection directly to hardware decoders, Wowza Streaming Engine and Zixi servers. Thanks to various streaming protocols, including RTMP, it is possible to deliver content directly to Internet sites and content distribution networks (CDNs), such as Ustream, JVC noted.

The GY-HM200 is JVC's most affordable live streaming camcorder, making it ideal for corporate video production and TLC applications. It is equipped with a 1/2,3-inch BSI CMOS sensor and a built-in 12x zoom lens (in HD mode, the lens has a dynamic magnification of 24x) with an optical image stabilizer, the company said. The camera shoots in 4K Ultra HD, 4:2:2 Full HD (50 Mbps) and SD.

The GY-HM200 and GY-LS300 cameras are equipped with two XLR audio inputs (mic/line) with phantom power, a hot shoe and a dedicated microphone mount are integrated into the removable handle, there are also SDI and HDMI video outputs.

In turn, the compact and lightweight GY-HM170 is assembled in a durable housing, the controls on which are located in the way that is familiar to video shooting professionals. Support for native file formats, material is recorded in 4K Ultra HD format using the H.264 compression standard. In addition, it is possible to record in HD and SD in different resolutions and frame rates. Other features include a built-in 12x zoom lens with two integrated ND filters, a built-in stereo microphone and 3,5mm audio jack and real-time 4K UHD video output via HDMI.
