ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RADIO ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING Chandelier Chizhevsky: questions and answers. Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering / Electronics in medicine By publishing the description of "Chizhevsky's Chandelier" in "Radio", 1997, No. 1, p. 36, 37, the editors foresaw that readers who decided to assemble this design may have questions. Therefore, for urgent answers to them, the editorial phone number (207-88-18) was given. And since then, the phone has not stopped ringing - they call from different parts of Russia to get advice from the author (by the way, sometimes it's easier to use another phone - (095) 433-91-34). Below, readers are offered answers to the most frequently asked questions. 1. Publications about the alleged inefficiency of the Chizhevsky Chandelier flashed through the press. How to treat them? In "Komsomolskaya Pravda" dated February 20, 1997 ("Club of consumers" No. 43), Petr Obraztsov published an article "Chizhevsky's chandelier. It will not cure, but it will smear dust on the walls," and in Izvestia dated March 1, 1997, an unknown the author answered the reader's phone call with the note "You shouldn't breathe under Chizhevsky's chandelier." The whole world knows that Alexander Leonidovich Chizhevsky was defamed all his life for his brilliant discoveries. He was repressed, but continued to work even in prison. When he was informed about the release, the scientist asked to "sit" for another three months in order to finish his almost ten years of work. The merits of A. L. Chizhevsky before mankind are great. They were officially recognized by an authoritative commission and published in the journal Party Life, No. 6, 1965. It is a pity, of course, that the authors of the above-mentioned articles are simply illiterate in the issues that they tried to "critically" shed light on and along the way, voluntarily or involuntarily, discredit the name of Alexander Leonidovich. They obviously never held Chizhevsky's unique 760-page monograph "Air Ionification in the National Economy" in their hands. Otherwise, the "disadvantages" listed in the articles would not have been attributed to his invention. If only because in their articles we are talking about a development produced by the Moscow Diod plant, which has nothing to do with the Chizhevsky Chandelier, and therefore cannot be called that. By the way, this name can also be found in the brochures of the developments of other Russian enterprises. "Chizhevsky's chandelier" (true, not fake) is a preventive device that improves the ecology of the environment and produces negative air ions necessary for the life of the body. At the same time, the "chandelier" creates a life-giving air that can alleviate the suffering of an ailing person, and sometimes even save him from illness. In the monograph mentioned above, A. L. Chizhevsky describes in detail the practical effect of the device on pulmonary tuberculosis, hypertension, bronchial asthma, rheumatism, colds and other diseases. No wonder there were recommendations on the use of this device and measures were taken to introduce it into industrial production. 2. What other, besides the one indicated in the description, a line transformer can be used in the construction? In principle, any such transformer or ignition coil from a car will do. But it must be borne in mind that the ratio of the turns of the primary and secondary windings is different for them and it may happen that the constant voltage supplied to the "chandelier" will not be enough. The way out of this situation is to increase the number of stages of the voltage multiplier. 3. Is it possible to use a ready-made television voltage multiplier, say, UN-8,5/25? It is impossible to use such a multiplier directly, since it is designed to receive a positive voltage that feeds the kinescope anode. But if the multiplier is turned on "vice versa", it will be possible to obtain a negative voltage at its output. Radio will talk about it. 4. How to check the trinistor and connect it correctly? The range of current through the control electrode required to open the trinistor is wide. Therefore, there are trinistors, especially the KU202 series, which "do not want" to work in this design. In practice, it is not difficult to determine such a trinistor using an avometer operating in ohmmeter mode on the "x1" range. An ohmmeter probes are applied to the terminals of the cathode and the control electrode in one and the other polarity. If the difference between the measured resistances is small, as well as the resistance itself is small (20 ohms or less), it is risky to install such a trinistor. SCRs work most reliably with resistances of 30 ... 40 ohms in one polarity of the ohmmeter probes and 70 ... 100 ohms in the other. It is not difficult to distinguish the conclusions of the trinistor: the body (threaded part) is the anode, the higher thin conclusion is the cathode, and the low one is the control electrode. 5. How to replace the hula-hoop ring? Instead of a ring, you can use a rim bent from a thick (3 ... 5 mm) copper or other metal wire. But subject to the diameter indicated on the drawing. 6. Is it possible to change the configuration of an electro-fluvial chandelier by making it, for example, square, or by pulling a grid wire without deflection onto a small diameter rim? All attempts to deviate from the design recommended by A. L. Chizhevsky, as practice has shown, lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the "chandelier", the appearance of ozone and nitrogen oxides. We have to get rid of harmful chemical formations by reducing the high-voltage supply voltage, which, in turn, leads to the production of "dead" air ions that are not able to reach the lungs, and therefore, "recharge" the blood. As a result, the "chandelier" turns into an electric air cleaner. In addition, the modified design cannot be called "Chizhevsky's Chandelier", since the scientist never made such designs, did not test them in action, and did not recommend them for production. 7. What is the mechanism of influence on the body of "Chizhevsky's Chandelier"? As Chizhevsky believed and proved, the strict structure of blood moving through the body is ensured due to the negative charge of erythrocytes, the main function of which is participation in gas exchange. They absorb oxygen in the lungs, transport and give it to cells, tissues, organs. If, however, molecular and atomic oxygen is affected by electricity, then oxygen is obtained that carries a negative charge. Then one breathes more freely, and ailments disappear, because erythrocytes are caught in the lungs and carry the negatively charged oxygen ions necessary for life to the cells of the body. If you look at it from the point of view of modern medical science, all diseases have different causes, but they have one thing in common - the course of the disease. It all starts with the loss of a negative charge in a place weakened by illness or injury. For example, fracture. Not only the bone breaks, but the entire harmonious structure of the vital activity of one or another part of the body. Dystrophy begins - malnutrition of bone tissue, chaos in the blood flowing through the vessels. The susceptibility of diseased tissues to electrons decreases. Hypoxia develops - oxygen starvation. Calcium is removed from the bone. Freed from the connections, it rolls everything around: coagulates bone tissue, muscle, blood. And this is not at all a thrombosis, as many believe. The products of coagulation entering the blood stratify the blood into thicker and more liquid parts with simultaneous blockage of blood vessels by clots. As paradoxical as it sounds, bleeding from a thickening that originates in a diseased cell of the body that has lost its negative charge. Then everything around is affected. This is the so-called thrombohemorrhagic syndrome (THS), a purely Russian discovery. Our body, each of its cells, emits a positive charge with breathing - harmful, or, as Chizhevsky said, "the waste of the body." That is why it is so hard to breathe in a crowded transport, cinema, library, school class. We're just poisoning each other. And even the air conditioner does not help in this case, because it only cools the air. Only an air ionizer - "Chizhevsky's Chandelier" can return its life-giving negative charge to oxygen.
