ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RADIO ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING A photo shooting range based on a laser pointer. Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering / Beginner radio amateur An article by I. Nechaev with this title was published in the Radio magazine, No. 3, 2001, p.58. Practice has shown some shortcomings of the proposed scheme. Firstly, when holding competitions with several people, as a rule, there is a hubbub of children and noise from guests or TV, so the volume of the piezoelectric emitter is not enough to fix a hit on the target. Secondly, there is no need to buy an additional battery and a voltage stabilizer chip, or you can use regular laser pointer batteries, but then a little modification of the pointer is necessary. The proposed version of the photo shooting gallery is free from these shortcomings by adding a light indication of hitting the target. Instead of the FT-1K phototransistor, any infrared photodiode can be used, but the FD-20-30K photodiode is better suited. This photodiode consists of two photodiodes with a common cathode, therefore it has a large area of the photosensitive element. In addition, the photosensitive element has a large viewing angle, because. not diaphragmed by the body. The latter makes it possible to fire targets not by direct hit, but by reflection of the laser beam from a funnel covered with foil or a mirror film. Photodiodes FD-20-30K must be connected in parallel.
Two holes are provided for the electrolytic capacitor, because for circuits that are not size critical, I use the preserved old element base, for example, K50-12. The KT315 transistor can be taken with any letter. The value of the resistor R1 can be from 470 kOhm. To use the batteries of the pointer, it is necessary to drill two holes in the body of the pointer according to the diameter of the wire used. Holes are drilled at a distance of 5-7 mm from the button to the battery compartment. Next, you need to make two current collectors with a diameter of 8 mm from tin and solder wires to them. Pre-wires are pulled through the drilled holes in the body of the pointer. The current collectors are glued in the center on both sides of the plastic button from the shirt (Ф11 mm) so that the wires come out in one direction (you can simply press it in with a hot soldering iron). Having inserted the current collectors into the body of the pointer, it is necessary to check whether there is any contact between the current collectors and the body of the pointer. Next, a chain with a carabiner is removed from the battery compartment cover, and the hole is reamed to 2,5-3 mm. A screw with a washer is inserted into this hole, which secure the plus wire. Next, the batteries are inserted into the body of the pointer, the button is fixed with electrical tape in the pressed position, and the pointer is checked for inclusion by shorting the wires from the current collectors. If the laser turns on, then there are no shorts in the assembly. Batteries for four months of intensive "fights" have not yet had to be changed. Author: Alexandrov I.
