Thermostats - electronic devices that provide optimal and precise control of heating and heating cable systems.

Thermostats are widely used:

in systems"warm floorfor full heating and comfortable floor heating;
in anti-icing systems for roofs and gutters;
in heating systems for outdoor areas, winter gardens, greenhouses;
in systems to prevent freezing of tanks, pipes and pipelines.

Thermostats are equipped with various types of sensors:

air temperature sensor;

combination of different sensors.

Sensors are built-in and remote (on the wire). The thermostats are produced in various models for installation in the wall, in control cabinets on a DIN profile or for installation outside.

Let's look at this concept with an example. underfloor heating systems. In addition to the heating cable, the "warm floor" system includes an automatic thermostat (thermostat) that controls the air temperature in the room. This fixture is wall-mounted and is the only visible part of the system.

Non-programmable thermostats most often used in the simplest cable heating systems (for example, for a bathroom or toilet).

Programmable thermostats allow not only to maintain the set temperature, but also to change it according to a user-defined algorithm.

According to the installation method, all thermostats are manufactured in different types.:

room bills;
embedded in walls;
for installation in the control cabinet.

Switched power thermostats, as a rule, does not exceed 3 kW. If the total power of the heating sections installed in the room is greater, they are connected to the supply network through a special power relay (magnetic starter)thermostat controlled. Another option is to use multiple fixtures, one for each section.
