The dimensions of the subwoofer case are in the figure.
The case is made of chipboard 1.5 cm thick, covered with furniture varnish in 2 layers, pasted over with a black self-adhesive film. On the outer side of the loudspeakers there are protective nets with black edging.
subwoofer cost
Manufacturing of the case (manufacturer's material) - 480 rubles, 2 speakers 35GDN-1-4, purchased at the ad complete with speakers - 400 rubles, furniture varnish 0.5 l. - 32 rubles, self-adhesive film 4x0.676m - 168 rubles.
Disadvantages
When listening to music at a volume close to the limit, outside the car you can clearly hear the following details rattling: the left rear door, the deflector on the roof, the fifth door wiper and the fifth door itself. The rear registration plate also rings. Due to the lack of a pronounced rise of 60-100 Hz, as in "pancakes", the sound of the subwoofer does not attract the attention of others from a distance of more than 20 m. Although can the latter be considered a disadvantage?? :-)
Hack and predictor Aviator
A subwoofer is a mustif you need a normal "bottom"! Tales that pancakes, being free-air heads (that is, they do not require closed space in the form of a body), can produce normal bass - this is for those who are too lazy to mess with music.

Artificial leather for touch emulation
15.04.2024
In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>
Petgugu Global cat litter
15.04.2024
Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>
The attractiveness of caring men
14.04.2024
The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
Random news from the Archive 75,6 TB of data on a piece of quartz
30.09.2020
The amount of digital data generated by humans is growing at an extremely high rate. Meanwhile, physical media are not developing so fast. This means that in order to create cloud storage, you need to purchase more and more expensive hard drives. The way out of this situation may be a new Microsoft technology that allows you to write tens of terabytes of data on a piece of quartz.
Microsoft Project Silica is based on the technology of writing data on ultra-strong quartz glass using a laser by deforming its structure. During the experiments, the researchers were able to "pack" 75,6 TB of data into a piece of fused silica the size of a 2,5-inch disk. If we draw analogies, then the most capacious 3,5-inch hard drive has a capacity of 20 TB.
The main problem faced by the Project Silica team is that the quartz media cannot be overwritten. Therefore, the information on it is read-only. This will cause problems with backup, it will take much longer than with regular disks. As it turned out, not only Microsoft, but also other companies are working on a similar technology. So, Seagate already has its own developments.
Analysts say that by 2025 the amount of data in the world will exceed 175 zettabytes (1 ZB = billion TB). This is six times more than in 2018. Moreover, the development of 5G networks, the demand for high-definition video and the market for the Internet of things can lead to the fact that by the end of the decade the total amount of information will reach 1 trillion terabytes - 1000 zettabytes.
