In contrast to the scheme, which slows down the fan speed after the start (for a sure start of the fan), this scheme will increase the efficiency of the fan by increasing the speed when the sensor temperature rises. The circuit also reduces fan noise and extends fan life.
The setting is made before the temperature sensor is attached to the radiator. Rotating R1, we make the fan stop and then turning it in the opposite direction, we make it guaranteed to start when the thermistor is clamped between the fingers (36 degrees) If your fan sometimes does not start even with strong heat (bring a soldering iron), then you need to add the chain C1, R2. Then we set R1 so that the fan is guaranteed to start when voltage is applied to a cold power supply, and then, a few seconds after the capacitor is charged, the speed drops, but the fan does not stop completely. Now we fix the sensor and check how it all will turn during real work.
Rt - any thermistor with a negative TKE, for example, MMT1 with a nominal value of 10 - 30 kOhm. The thermistor is attached (glued) through a thin insulating gasket (preferably mica) to the radiator of high-voltage transistors (or to one of them).

Artificial leather for touch emulation
15.04.2024
In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>
Petgugu Global cat litter
15.04.2024
Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>
The attractiveness of caring men
14.04.2024
The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
Random news from the Archive New Infineon Eco Block Power Modules
09.01.2018
Infineon has expanded its Eco Line power module family with a second generation of modules with a base width of 34mm. The devices are available for voltages up to 1600 V with operating currents up to 190 A. Power modules are designed for use in power supplies, uninterruptible UPS, welding machines and electric drives.
The modules belong to the Solder Bond family, in which the internal connections are made using aluminum conductors. Unlike standard insulated base fixtures, they do not have a clamping device, making them more cost-competitive. The soldering quality is fully controlled by X-ray, resulting in high product quality and increased uptime. Infineon engineers have also redesigned the power leads to achieve a more symmetrical current distribution.
The devices of the Eco Line family are dual modules with thyristor/thyristor, thyristor/diode and diode/diode topologies. Operating voltages range up to 1600 V, operating currents from 60 to 130 A for 20 mm cases, from 160 to 190 A for 34 mm cases and from 280 to 330 A for 50 mm cases. 34 and 50 mm thyristor and thyristor-diode modules are also available with voltage class 1800 V, diode modules with operating voltage 2000 and 2200 V.
