Vehicle lock control module. Scheme

Email management module lock drives. Many cheap imported car alarms do not include electric locks and an electric drive control module. If it is advisable to purchase electric drives at the nearest auto electronics store, then the control module, with some skills, can be made independently. Below is a description of a similar device. Advantages - low power consumption, simplicity, reliability of work. Disadvantages - there is no "central locking" function (simultaneous locking / unlocking of all locks by pressing a button located on the driver's door). Functionally, the device consists of a matching node, 2 single vibrators and a switching node.

Principle of operation

The control signal from the car alarm (for example, starter blocking) is fed to the matching node assembled on the DD1.2 element (terminates interference and normalizes the control signal to logic levels). From the matching node, the locking control signal starts a single vibrator (DD1.3, DD2.2), which generates a locking pulse. Through the inverter assembled on the element DD1.1, the unlocking signal starts the one-shot (DD1.4, DD2.1), which generates the unlocking pulse. At the output of each single vibrator, a buffer is installed, assembled on elements DD2.4 and DD2.3. From the outputs of the buffers, the signal is amplified in current by cascades on transistors to a value sufficient to control the relay. The relays, in turn, control the turning on of the motor and the direction of its rotation.

Thus, when the "alarm" control signal changes, the drive motor turns on for a short time and starts to rotate in a certain direction depending on the voltage drop (from low to high - in one direction, from high to low - in the opposite direction). When connecting drives, it should be taken into account that the maximum current switched by the relay does not exceed 2A.

Recommended Wiring Diagrams

For "soft" locks, all four drives are connected in series. In addition to being economical, such an inclusion is also interesting in that when the fastest drive is triggered, the voltage drop across it decreases, thereby accelerating the operation of slower drives.

For "hard" locks, you can use additional relay contacts by assembling the same switching unit on free groups of contacts and controlling 2 chains of two drives connected in series.

At the extreme, the connection can be made in parallel with two chains of two drives connected in series. Wiring should be done with a wire of the largest possible cross-section, along the shortest route (to prevent a large voltage drop on the wires) With serviceable radio components and proper assembly, the circuit does not require adjustment and starts working immediately (in exceptional cases it may be necessary to increase the duration of the unlocking or locking pulse by replacing the capacitors with a nominal value 2.2 uF for larger capacitors, but it's better to disassemble and lubricate the locks :-)).

Printed circuit board

The printed circuit board of the device is placed in a plastic case, the outputs are marked with a label: The control module for electric locks was tested for 3 years in various weather conditions, together with the car alarm "FBI Car Alarm". For the entire period of operation, no failures in the operation of the device were noticed (even with a significant decrease in the supply voltage as a result of battery discharge). If you dream of equipping the car with power windows, then by slightly modifying the circuit, you can introduce the function of lifting windows when arming the car.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Netgear Nighthawk M1 Mobile Router 10.02.2017

Netgear has announced a new mobile router that is more than just a flagship: the Nighthawk M1 is the industry's first device to support 4G networks with downlink speeds up to 1Gbps. The basis of the device is a Qualcomm X16 LTE modem with a 4 x 4 configuration and MIMO support.

Unfortunately, for now the new router will be available only to Australians - users of LTE Telstra 4GX networks. As similar networks appear in other parts of our planet, the same router or its regional versions may also appear on store shelves outside of Australia. The dimensions of the device are small: only 105,5 x 105,5 x 20,35 mm, it weighs only 240 grams, despite the presence of a fairly powerful built-in battery.

Netgear Nighthawk M1 is designed primarily for scenarios where you need to install a high-speed wireless network, including up to 20 devices, where there is basically no wired connection, but the area is affected by ultra-fast mobile network coverage. This is a typical scenario for most suburban places and villages in Australia, where high-speed cable infrastructure is basically absent. The new Netgear can also be used as a regular cable router - it has a Gigabit Ethernet port and two USB ports (one of them is type C), or as a NAS server (content can be placed on a microSD card, fortunately, there is an advising slot).

The built-in 5040 mAh battery ensures continuous operation of the device for up to 24 hours. The device does not require special configuration, but it has a nice integrated 2,4" display, which displays the main parameters, such as connection speed and the amount of downloaded and uploaded data. For fine-tuning, there is a special mobile utility in versions for Android and iOS.

The Qualcomm X16 modem is paired with a WTR5975 RF transceiver from the same manufacturer. This pair supports not only 4 x 4 MIMO mode, but also channel combining from four providers (4 x CA), as well as high-order modulation - 256QAM. This allows you to achieve data download speeds of 1 Gb / s, but, of course, not everywhere, but only where all conditions exist for this. In the 64QAM and 2 x CA mode used for the uplink, the data rate in Telstra 4GX networks can reach 150 Mbps. In addition to the LTE Cat 16 range, 3G mode is supported at 850/900/1900 and 2100 MHz. It is curious that for more confident reception, a pair of additional antennas can be connected to the router. The TS-9 connectors are hidden behind decorative caps on the back of the device.

In the future, the X16 modem will become part of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 mobile processors, but for now it is only available as a separate chip. The wireless Wi-Fi part of the Nighthawk M1 is a Qualcomm Class 2 solution [ 2 with support for 802.11b / g / n / ac standards and simultaneous operation in the 2,4 and 5 GHz bands, which allows you to seamlessly use up to 20 devices simultaneously.

Available this month, Telstra plans to sell it for $360 AUD ($276) as a standalone device, and to accompany the new router with a number of tariff plans for connecting to its high-speed LTE networks.
