A slight alteration of the previous scheme and the need to use ordered speakers led to an interesting use of the latter. It's about current.

This is the speaker itself.

And this is how the scheme turned out.

As you can see, a simple redistribution of galvanization made it possible to turn on the speakers in a current way. Now every wire inside the circuit carries a unidirectional current including the loudspeakers. Instead of XLR, I put two RCAs at the input. This is a preparation for a future device with a current output. This scheme, as well as the previous one, does not require thermal compensation.

The question "what sounds better" is somehow not born here. This scheme is more lively, "tasty". But there is a condition. It is better to make power supply stabilized, because. a small background is heard (if the ear is brought to the speaker). This was not the case in the previous version. And an inexperienced person can easily mix up the wires going to the speaker. Therefore, if anyone wants to repeat it, for safety, it is better to put a plug on the output. Or just make active acoustics.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Cost-Effective Wi-Fi Chips for Consumer Electronics 22.09.2013

Qualcomm Incorporated announced that its Qualcomm Atheros division has introduced a new family of low power Wi-Fi chips. These chips will develop and support the concept of the "Internet of Things", helping to provide communication between devices of different types. With an IP stack and full on-chip network services, the QCA4002 and QCA4004 platforms will allow manufacturers to add Wi-Fi support to virtually any device without additional development costs.

The platforms are distinguished by the integration of a processor and a memory module on a chip, which eliminates the need to use a system controller, which increases the cost of the product and its power consumption. Using the QCA4004, companies will be able to build their own applications on the Qualcomm Atheros platform, rather than just using it for Wi-Fi connectivity.

The QCA4002/4004 platforms are designed for use in household appliances (washing machines, air conditioners, water heaters, etc.), consumer electronics, as well as sensors and smart sockets for household lighting, security and automation systems. The QCA4004 platform is already used in Haier's washer-dryers and split systems.

The QCA4002/4004 also uses the AllJoyn software platform to realize the IoT concept. The platform provides uninterrupted communication between different types of devices, services and services. Alljoyn helps solve universal tasks of user interaction with devices around them: registration, notifications, audio streaming and control.

Haier and Qualcomm Atheros at IFA 2013 demonstrated two devices based on the QCA4004 platform: a washer-dryer and an air conditioner. "Because Qualcomm Atheros provides turnkey Wi-Fi platforms with low power consumption, Haier has been able to quickly develop products that are ready for mass production," said Lily Li, CEO of Qingdao Haier Smart Home Technology Limited. Wi-Fi enabled devices will be in demand by consumers who want to control household appliances through mobile devices."

"By building the IoT hub, Qualcomm is building and delivering cost-effective and energy-efficient connectivity solutions. Qualcomm's new Atheros development allows many new home and office devices to connect to standard Wi-Fi networks," said Jason Zheng, senior vice president of Qualcomm Atheros - The QCA4002 and QCA4004 platforms reduce power consumption and eliminate the use of main processors, which simplifies installation, configuration and operation."

Both the QCA4002 and QCA4004 platforms include a Green TX feature that can reduce data transmission power by up to half when there are access points or other devices nearby.

Dynamic power control and sleep function, when consuming less than 1 mW, improve communication efficiency and battery life: for example, in remote controls, thermostats and sensors. A special program is responsible for reducing the power consumption on the platform, which controls the automatic wake-up or transition to sleep mode, in which the power consumption can be reduced to microamps. At the same time, the QCA4002 and QCA4004 wake up from sleep mode four times faster than their counterparts.
