You can download other books, magazines, manuals, as well as diagrams and service manuals in our Free online technical library.

The book brought to the attention of readers is devoted to the peculiarities of using a personal computer to work with mobile (cellular) phones of the most famous developer companies (ALCATEL, ERICSSON, MOTOROLA. NOKIA, SIEMENS, SAMSUNG, SONYERICSSON, etc.). The first chapter contains information about the special equipment that is needed to connect mobile phones to a PC. Schematics and drawings of printed circuit boards are provided, as well as tips for making special service cables. The second chapter deals with the software used to unlock (decode) the most popular cell phone models, to improve the firmware and other purposes. Examples of the use of individual software products are given. The third chapter is devoted to special devices used to program the memory circuits used in both mobile phones and service equipment. In the fourth chapter, special attention is paid to issues related to the SIM card: reading and writing information, cloning SIM cards, writing information contained on several SIM cards to one SIM card, etc. Schematic diagrams of the corresponding service equipment are given, as well as recommendations for working with it. The appendix contains drawings of service connectors of the most popular mobile phone models and tables with pin assignments. This publication will be useful not only for specialists, but also for owners of mobile phones, as it will allow you to learn more about the additional features of existing devices and use them in everyday life.

Traffic noise delays the growth of chicks 06.05.2024

The sounds that surround us in modern cities are becoming increasingly piercing. However, few people think about how this noise affects the animal world, especially such delicate creatures as chicks that have not yet hatched from their eggs. Recent research is shedding light on this issue, indicating serious consequences for their development and survival. Scientists have found that exposure of zebra diamondback chicks to traffic noise can cause serious disruption to their development. Experiments have shown that noise pollution can significantly delay their hatching, and those chicks that do emerge face a number of health-promoting problems. The researchers also found that the negative effects of noise pollution extend into the adult birds. Reduced chances of reproduction and decreased fertility indicate the long-term effects that traffic noise has on wildlife. The study results highlight the need ... >>

A New Way to Control and Manipulate Optical Signals 05.05.2024

The modern world of science and technology is developing rapidly, and every day new methods and technologies appear that open up new prospects for us in various fields. One such innovation is the development by German scientists of a new way to control optical signals, which could lead to significant progress in the field of photonics. Recent research has allowed German scientists to create a tunable waveplate inside a fused silica waveguide. This method, based on the use of a liquid crystal layer, allows one to effectively change the polarization of light passing through a waveguide. This technological breakthrough opens up new prospects for the development of compact and efficient photonic devices capable of processing large volumes of data. The electro-optical control of polarization provided by the new method could provide the basis for a new class of integrated photonic devices. This opens up great opportunities for ... >>

Teenagers don't listen to their parents 23.05.2022

Many, many parents are faced with the fact that their child, only yesterday still obedient, suddenly turns into a difficult teenager who is clearly not interested in what dad and mom say, who does everything differently than he is told, who behaves as as if he does not hear the elders at all.

Employees of Stanford University found out that everything is true: teenagers do not hear their elders in the truest sense of the word. True, it’s not that they don’t hear - it’s just that the parental voice ceases to be the main one among the voices of other people.

What does cease to be the main mean? In past work, scientists have explored how the child's brain perceives the mother's voice. It turned out that the voice of the mother includes a number of zones in the child's brain, ranging from purely auditory to those responsible for self-awareness and facial analysis. Moreover, the mother's voice activates all these zones more strongly than the voice of an unfamiliar woman.

These experiments were done with children from 7 to 12 years old; for new experiments, children from 7 to 16 years old were already invited - and it turned out that the sixteen-year-old brain reacts to the mother's voice differently than the seven-year-old brain. The areas responsible for attention and anticipation of rewards, as they grow older, begin to respond more strongly to unfamiliar voices; the corresponding changes begin somewhere between thirteen and fourteen years of age. That is, it cannot be said that a teenager stops hearing his mother at all, just that if there is an alternative, he will listen with great attention to another voice, not necessarily a comrade of the same age, but simply an outside adult.

It may be difficult for some to come to terms with this, but not a single parent in the world will be able to install in a child the entire amount of knowledge that will be needed in life - and the ability to live in society also belongs to such knowledge. A person will encounter many other people with whom one needs to somehow negotiate, whose words need to be analyzed, whose emotions and thoughts need to be somehow understood, and the sooner the brain learns these procedures, the better. To learn, you need educational material, which is why the family world opens up into the external environment, and the ear begins to catch what others say first of all, instead of the long-familiar intra-family conversations.

However, such a switch to the outside world must depend on many different factors, and one of the main factors here, of course, is the relationship between the child and the mother. And these relationships are obviously influenced by other relatives, and here it would be interesting to know if the perception of the father's voice or the voice of brothers, sisters, etc. is somehow changing.
