Here are the recipes soap powders with different content of fatty acids.

High fatty acid soap powder

  • Caustic soda solution 23 °Be 200 kg;
  • Oleic acid 150 kg;
  • Palm oil 50 kg;
  • Soda ash 200 kg.

The sodium hydroxide solution is placed in a cauldron, oleic acid and palm oil are added, brought to a boil and heated until a clear soapy glue is formed. Then soda ash is added and stirred for a long time. The thick porridge-like mass is allowed to cool in flat forms, then it is taken out, broken into pieces and ground in a special mill. Soap powder prepared in this way is kept completely dry in a simple paper package.

Soap powder with 25% fatty acids

  • Caustic soda solution 25 °Be 30 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 22 °Be 250 kg;
  • Palm oil 150 kg;
  • Oleic acid 100 kg;
  • Silica soda (soluble glass) 100 kg;
  • Anhydrous soda ash 300 kg;
  • Water 100 l.

Sequentially fill the cauldron with palm oil olein, caustic soda solution 22 ° Be, boil and heat until a transparent soap glue is obtained. Separately, take silicic acid, mix it with a solution of caustic soda 25 ° Be and this mixture is mixed with soap glue. Then water and dry soda ash are added to this mass. When you add soda, the soap glue becomes thicker and thicker and forms lumps. If the workshop does not have a boiler with a strong mixing device, it is necessary to dump the resulting soap mass onto a metal sheet and stir it for a long time with a shovel until it becomes homogeneous. Then passed through a mill.

Soap powder with 15% fatty acids

  • Caustic soda solution 20 °Be 180 kg;
  • Olein 100 kg;
  • Palm oil 50 kg;
  • Calcined 450 kg;
  • Soda ash solution 40 kg;
  • Water 220 l.

Heat a solution of sodium hydroxide 20°Be, olein and palm oil in a cauldron until a clear soapy glue is formed. Add a solution of soda in water to this glue. After heating stops, another 450 kg of soda ash is added to the soap mass, and the mass becomes more and more thickened. The mass is stirred in the cauldron using a metal device or with shovels (after dumping it on an iron sheet) until the lumps disappear and the mass becomes homogeneous and begins to noticeably harden. The resulting product is broken into pieces, ground into powder and packaged. Another method of preparation is to heat 60 kg of olein, add 500 kg of ground crystalline soda to it, mix vigorously and leave this whole mass to stand for 2 hours, after which it is passed through a sieve.

Soap powder with 20% fatty acids

  • Palm oil 100 kg;
  • Cotton oil (fatty oil from the seeds of various types of cotton) 30 kg;
  • Light bone 30 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 20 °Be 40 kg;
  • Water 150 l;
  • Soda ash 300 kg;
  • A solution of sodium silicate 100 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 20 °Be 30 kg.

Prepare as described above.

Soap powders with a low content of fatty acids

1st recipe:

  • Ground crystalline soda 82 kg;
  • White olein 12 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 23 °Be kg.

2st recipe:

  • Ground crystalline soda 88 kg;
  • White olein 8 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 20 ° Be 4 kg.

3st recipe:

  • Ground crystalline soda 74 kg;
  • White olein 8 kg;
  • Talc 18 kg.

The preparation method for obtaining a good product is as follows. Grinded crystalline soda is passed through a fine sieve into the boiler together with caustic soda (according to the 3rd recipe, talc is added, which serves for filling) and all this is mixed well.

Olein is heated in another boiler. If the product should be yellow in color, then you need to add a little palm oil to the olein. A part of the soda solution is slowly added to this fatty mixture and mixed until a doughy mass is obtained, then the rest of the soda solution must be quickly poured in and the mass is stirred until all the lumps disperse and it becomes completely homogeneous. Pass the mass through a fine sieve into a large vessel and, when it is full, close the lid, after which the mass itself will heat up and saponification will occur.

It is necessary to pay special attention to the fact that when soda is added to olein, lumps do not form, since after that they can only be broken with difficulty. You should immediately get a kind of porridge, which, with the gradual addition of soda and with thorough stirring, will eventually give a pasty dry mass. In this case, the formation of lumps will not occur.

Soap powder with 5% fatty acids

  • Palm oil 25 kg;
  • Cottonseed oil 15 kg;
  • Rosin 10 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 20 °Be 58 kg;
  • Soda ash 550 kg;
  • A solution of sodium silicate 50 kg;
  • Caustic soda solution 20 °Be 15 kg;
  • Soda ash solution 50 kg;
  • Water 225 l.

Pass the mass through a coarse sieve, after which a coarse-grained soap powder will be obtained. By using smaller sieves, a sufficiently fine soap powder can be obtained.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

A non-sinking mobile phone 27.04.2003

The Swedish company Ericcson received a patent for the design of a non-sinking mobile phone. Ericsson's invention is a floating module that is installed on the back of the phone, on top of the battery, as a result of which the device becomes buoyant.

The developers believe that such a scheme is better than a float combined with a battery. If necessary, it can be removed, which makes the device less cumbersome.
