Individuals at least 18 years of age who have undergone special training, have a certificate for the right to drive a particular machine issued by a qualification commission, and also have passed an introductory safety briefing at the workplace are allowed to work independently on combines. A safety briefing at the workplace must be carried out with each change in working conditions, but at least twice a year. 1.2. Before starting work, the combine driver is obliged to carefully inspect the machine and make sure that it is in good condition. 1.3. It is forbidden to go to work if there are any malfunctions of the machine: at the harvester if the engine, steering and running gear, clutch, brake, control clutch are malfunctioning; fuel tanks, fuel lines and carburetors (fuel leakage), towing device, as well as in the absence of wings (shields) for wheeled tractors. 1.4. Each combine must be assigned by order (instruction) to a specific driver. 1.5. It is forbidden to start work on an unsecured machine or on a machine assigned to another operator. 1.6. When using machines, visibility of the working area from the driver's workplace must be ensured. In the event that the driver operating the machine does not have sufficient visibility or does not see the worker giving him signals, two-way radio communication must be established between the driver and the working signalman. 1.7. The combine driver must be provided with overalls provided for by current standards: cotton semi-overalls, combined gloves. 1.8. For safe operation in the dark, the machines must be equipped with serviceable lamps (headlights). 1.9. It is forbidden to lubricate and fasten parts, refuel, adjust and clean the tractor and trailers from dirt during operation. 1.10. Opening the radiator cap of an uncooled engine must be done with gloves or using ends and rags. 1.11. When opening the radiator cap, keep your face away from the radiator filler neck and be on the windward side. Care must also be taken when draining hot water from the radiator. 1.12. Do not adjust the fan belt tension or perform any repairs while the engine is running. 1.13. Before refueling, place the harvester on a cleared of stubble, dry grass and plowed area or plowing, turn off the engine. 1.13. In order to prevent the harvester from catching fire, clean the shafts of the working bodies (beaters, drums, straw feeder, crank, cutterbar, auger, reel) from windings of plant mass in a timely manner. 1.14. Before starting work, the combine operator must familiarize himself with the work area: the terrain, find out and locate the supplied communications, power lines. 2.2. Before starting the engine, you must: a) make sure that there are no foreign objects on the rotating parts of the engine, box b) make sure that the gearshift lever is in the neutral position; c) Wipe dry all exterior parts of the machine that have been contaminated with gasoline or oil to avoid possible ignition. 2.3. When starting the tractor engine, all fingers of the hand must be located on one side of the starting handle. It is forbidden to take the starting handle in a girth. 2.4. It is forbidden to start an overheated engine in order to avoid kickback from a premature flash (due to self-ignition of the working mixture). 2.5. It is forbidden to use an open flame to heat the engine when starting it, and also to operate the bulldozer if there is a leak in the fuel or oil system. Oil heating is allowed only in special oil heaters. 2.6. When refueling, do not smoke, light matches or use other types of open flames. Do not open metal containers with flammable liquids by hitting metal objects on the cork, in order to avoid the possibility of igniting the fuel. 2.7. When connecting feeder house to thresher or header to feeder house, stay clear of and between nodes. 2.8. Before carrying out work under the harvester, place it on special metal stands, turn off the hydraulic cylinder valve. 2.9. Before driving to the place of work, set the units protruding beyond the dimensions of the machine to the transport position. When using machines in the modes established by the operational documentation, the levels of noise, vibration, dust, gas contamination should not exceed the values established by GOST 12.1003-83, GOST 12.1012-78. 3.11. Maintenance and current repairs of the machine should be carried out in equipped rooms or sites. For maintenance and repair under operating conditions, the machine must be removed from the working area. 3.12. Workplaces for the maintenance and current repair of machines must be equipped with a set of efficient manual machines (tools), devices, inventory, lifting machines and fire extinguishing equipment. 3.13. When driving downhill, be sure to engage first gear. When changing gears, be sure to brake the combine. When driving uphill, it is forbidden to change gears. 3.14. It is forbidden to move the harvester across steep slopes, the angle of inclination of which exceeds 30°. 3.15. Before dismounting from the combine, the shift lever must be in neutral and the brake applied. 3.16. When driving on the opposite side of the combines, it is necessary to observe an interval between machines of at least 2 m. 3.17. It is not allowed to operate combine harvesters without guarding moving parts (drive belt, swivel joint of drive shaft, power take-off shaft, etc.). 3.18. At night, the place of work should be lit. 3.19. In the absence of a cab, the driver must have goggles that protect the eyes from dust; in the hot season, an umbrella must be installed to protect against sunlight. 3.20. Sharp turns of the car are allowed only at the first speed; the command "stop" should be carried out immediately, no matter who gave it. 3.21. It is forbidden to work on machines without a functioning signaling device. 3.22. When operating machines with a hydraulic control system, it is necessary: a) monitor the serviceability of the safety valve, which serves to bypass part of the oil from the distributor to the tank; b) carefully tighten the connections of the flexible hoses to prevent oil leakage during operation;) in case of rupture of the flexible hoses, turn off the pump and stop the tractor. It is forbidden to adjust the valve "by eye", as overtightening it can lead to an accident. 3.23. When driving combines on field roads and when passing, keep to the right side and maintain a side distance of at least 2 m from oncoming machines. 3.24. Turn off the rear lights when driving through built-up areas and on public roads. 3.25. When moving harvesters on public roads during daylight hours to nodes protruding from the dimensions of the machines, set warning red flags, and at night - red signal lights, turn on the flasher. 4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations 4.1. If the harvester catches fire, it is necessary to turn off the engine, leave the machine, take measures to extinguish the fire source If it is impossible to exit the cab through the door, break the front glass with your foot or a metal object. 4.2. During a thunderstorm, stop all types of work, get out of the cab. You should not take shelter from a thunderstorm in stacks, haystacks, under single trees under other objects that rise above the surrounding area. 5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work 5.1. The combine driver is obliged to place the machine in the parking lot so that the interval between the machines along the front and in the column is at least 10 m. 5.2. Check the technical condition of the machine; report major faults to the local mechanic for their elimination by the repair team, and fix minor faults yourself. 5.3.
