3.7. When cutting patches, the knife blade must be moved away from you. The handle must be correct.

3.8. Containers with gasoline and glue should be kept closed, opening as needed.

3.9. Tires should be inflated in two stages: first, up to 0,5 kg per cmXNUMX. with checking the position of the lock ring, and then to the pressure prescribed by the instructions.

3.10. If the lock ring is found to be in the wrong position, bleed all the air from the tire being inflated, correct the position of the ring, and then repeat the above operations. Inflating tires without dismantling should be done if the air pressure in them has decreased by no more than 40% of the norm.

3.11. A pressure gauge or air pressure dispenser must be installed in the tire inflation area.

3.12. When using an electrically driven compressor unit to inflate tires:

  • inspect the condition of electrical apparatus, pressure gauge (should be checked in the laboratory of the State Standard, there should be a red line on the pressure gauge scale corresponding to the allowed pressure);
  • check the availability and serviceability of the compressor grounding and the availability of PPE (dielectric gloves, mats, tools with insulated handles);
  • drain the condensate through the purge cocks from the air collector.

3.13. Before turning on the compressor, scrolling by hand, check for jamming.

3.14. Test the compressor at idle speed with air bleed to the outside according to the manufacturer's instructions.

3.15. After switching the compressor to the "Operation" mode, check the lubrication of the mechanisms, cooling and air pressure in the receiver.

3.16. To inspect the inner surface of the tire, a spreader (expander) should be used.

3.17. New tires must be equipped with new tubes. The same is recommended for retreaded tires.

3.18. Install tires with a directional tread pattern in such a way that the direction of the arrows on the sidewalls of the tire coincides with the direction of rotation of the wheel when the self-propelled equipment moves forward.

3.17. To remove foreign objects from the tire, use pliers.

3.18. It is forbidden to mount the tire on a rim that is rusty or has dents, cracks, burrs.

3.19. When mounting the tire on the rim, the retaining ring must securely enter the rim recess with its entire inner surface.

3.20. When inflating a tire with air, it is possible to correct its position on the disk by tapping only after it has stopped feeding.

3.21. It is forbidden to mount tires on faulty wheel disks, as well as to use wheel disks with removable flanges according to the corresponding tire size.

3.22. When inflating a tire, do not use a hammer or sledgehammer to upset the circlip.

3.23. It is possible to inflate the tire without dismantling if the air pressure has decreased by no more than 40% and if there is confidence that the decrease in pressure has not violated the correct installation.

3.24. It is necessary to inflate the tire of a wheel removed from the vehicle using a guard or safety device of sufficient strength and size to prevent the snap ring from popping out. The air pressure can only be checked when the tires are cold.

3.25. An air pressure dispenser or pressure gauge must be installed at the tire inflation station.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. When inflating tires, stop the compressor immediately when:

  • excess pressure on the manometer;
  • if malfunctions are found that can lead to an accident;
  • in case of fire;
  • when there is a smell of burning and smoke in the compressor;
  • with a noticeable increase in vibration.

4.2. In emergency situations, stop work, leave the danger zone, if necessary, disconnect the equipment from the mains. If there is a danger of an accident, take measures to prevent it. Provide first aid to victims of injury, sudden illness. Notify the supervisor of the incident.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. Power off the equipment

5.2. Clean up the workplace.

5.3. Place all containers with gasoline and rubber glue in lockable metal boxes.

5.4. Disconnect and put away the tire inflation hoses.

5.5. Clean up the instrument, wash your hands, take a shower.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Chips from jellyfish 30.07.2017

Due to factors such as global warming and the depletion of traditional seafood, the humble jellyfish, on the contrary, has shown a population explosion in recent years. Jellyfish have become so numerous lately that scientists are constantly developing ways to deal with them, including aquatic robots that kill them like that.

Other scientists thought about why not use jellyfish for food, if there are so many of them in the world. It has even been proposed to make peculiar chips by drying non-poisonous species of jellyfish. Such an idea occurred to a scientist from the University of Southern Denmark. Mi Thorborg Pedersen developed a method to turn jellyfish into chips-like food.

Dried jellyfish have actually been eaten for centuries in Asian cultures. The drying process, which includes the use of salt and alum, helps extract water from the jellyfish. The process of drying the jellyfish takes 30 - 40 days.

Mi Thorborg Pedersen developed a completely different method for drying jellyfish. He used alcohol for this. The process of preparing jellyfish with alcohol takes only a few days. When the water completely evaporates, the jellyfish is left with a thin, crisp disk. The scientist is sure that his method of cooking jellyfish definitely has gastronomic potential.
