I. General Provisions

  1. A person who has an academic degree of Doctor of Science, major scientific works or diplomas for discoveries and copyright certificates for inventions, as well as results implemented in practice, scientific authority in the relevant field of knowledge is appointed to the position of chief researcher.
  2. Appointment to a position and dismissal from it are made by order of the director of the organization upon presentation.
  3. The Chief Scientist should know:
  • scientific problems of the relevant field of knowledge, science and technology, directions of development of the economic sector, guidance materials from higher and other bodies;
  • domestic and foreign achievements on these issues;
  • the latest methods, means and practices of planning, organizing, conducting and implementing scientific research and development (assessment, patent information support, production of scientific and technical documentation, etc.);
  • forms of economic incentives and material incentives for workers;
  • current legislature;
  • organization of labor, production and management;
  • rules and regulations of labor protection.
  1. The Chief Research Officer reports directly to _______.

II. Official duties

Chief Researcher:

  1. Provides scientific supervision of research on the most important scientific problems of a fundamental and applied nature, including scientific and technical programs, and directly participates in their implementation.
  2. Formulates new areas of research and development, organizes the preparation of a work program, determines methods and means for their implementation.
  3. Participates in the formation of plans for research work, coordinates the activities of co-executors involved in joint work with other institutions (organizations) in the tasks assigned to him.
  4. Summarizes the results obtained, conducts research examination of completed research and development.
  5. Determines the scope of application of the results of scientific research and development and provides scientific guidance for the practical implementation of these results.
  6. Carries out training and advanced training of scientific personnel in the relevant field of knowledge.

III. Rights

The chief researcher has the right to:

  1. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the organization's management regarding its activities.
  2. On issues within his competence, submit proposals for the consideration of the organization’s management to improve the organization’s activities and improve working methods; comments on the activities of the organization’s employees; options for eliminating existing shortcomings in the organization’s activities.
  3. Request personally or on behalf of the management of the organization from the heads of departments and specialists information and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
  4. Involve specialists from all (individual) structural divisions in solving the tasks assigned to him (if this is provided for by the regulations on structural divisions, if not, then with the permission of the head).
  5. Require the management of the organization to assist in the performance of his duties and rights.

IV. A responsibility

The chief researcher is responsible in the following cases:

  1. For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
  2. For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
  3. For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Mirrorless camera Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 19.05.2015

Panasonic introduced the Lumix DMC-G7 mirrorless camera with interchangeable lenses. The novelty has replenished the family of devices of the Micro Four Thirds standard. The camera is endowed with a 17,3 x 13 mm CMOS sensor with 16 million effective pixels and a powerful Venus Engine image processor. The 3-inch tilt-and-turn display with touch control makes it easy to take self-portraits and work in conditions where the camera has to be held below or above eye level.

The light sensitivity is ISO 160-25600, the shutter speed range is 1/4000-60 s. Materials are stored on SD/SDHC/SDXC memory cards. There is a stereo microphone, a USB 2.0 port and an HDMI interface.

The camera supports ultra-high definition video recording in 4K format with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels (30, 25, 24, 20 frames per second). In addition, Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) video recording at up to 60 frames per second is possible.

Model Lumix DMC-G7 allows you to take sequential photos in maximum resolution at a speed of 7 frames per second. 4K Burst Shooting lets you capture a virtually unlimited number of 4K photos while holding down the shutter button. 4K Pre-burst mode allows you to capture 60 4K images before/after you press the shutter button. In this case, you can choose between four resolutions: 3840 x 2160 (16:9 aspect ratio), 3328 x 2496 (4:3), 3504 x 2336 (3:2) or 2880 x 2880 (1:1) pixels.

The camera is equipped with a fast autofocus system, an electronic viewfinder with 100% frame coverage and a Wi-Fi wireless adapter. Dimensions are 125 x 86 x 77 mm, weight - 410 grams.

The Lumix DMC-G7 will be available for an estimated price of $800 with a 14-42mm lens or $1100 with a 14-140mm lens.
