Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

TLV73333P New 300mA Capacitorless LDO Regulator 01.05.2015

Texas Instruments' new low dropout TLV73333P series TLV733P integrated regulator is designed to operate in devices with current consumption up to 300 mA.

The TLV73333P provides a fixed output voltage of 3,3V and generally does not require any wiring to operate. Stable operation is ensured even without connecting an input and output capacitor, which can be useful in battery-powered applications where high starting currents must be avoided.

Despite the low price, the TLV73333P stabilizer has good parameters - the voltage drop at the maximum current is less than 122 mV, the internal consumption current is 34 μA, there is a control input and an automatic discharge mode of the output capacitance through a built-in 120 Ohm resistor. When the regulator is turned off, the current consumption is reduced to 100 nA, while the control current on the Enable line is only 10 nA.

The TLV73333P stabilizer has protection against overheating, short circuit and input voltage drop below a certain value.

The TLV73333PDBVT chip is available in the popular SOT-23-5 package. If you need to minimize the PCB, you can choose the 2x1 mm X1SON package (TLV73333PDQNR).

The TLV733P series includes integrated voltage regulators with low voltage drop and fixed output voltage from the range: 1,0; 1,1; 1,2; 1,5; 1,8; 2,5; 3,3 V.
