Meaning: It is usually used jokingly and ironically, as a reproach to a person who has committed some misconduct, in the sense: well, how should you treat you after that?

Origin: Title of the film (1965) directed by V. Chebotarev based on the script by Y. Lukin, M. Prudnikov and V. Chebotarev. The film is dedicated to the Soviet Chekists, who operated in the rear of the Nazi troops. Its last episode is the meeting of the former SS general (actor V. Strzhelchik) and the Soviet intelligence officer (actor Anatoly Azo), which took place on Red Square during a solemn parade dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany.
