Prishvin Mikhail Mikhailovich. The most famous aphorisms

  • Be afraid to think without the participation of the heart.
  • People have learned to use everything, but they have not learned to use freedom. It may be that it is much easier to fight against want and extreme necessity than against freedom. In need, people are tempered and live the dream of freedom. But then comes freedom, and people don't know what to do with it.
  • Only love paints a person, starting from the first love for a woman, ending with love for the world and a person - everything else disfigures a person, leads him to death, that is, to power over another person.
  • Peace on earth is possible only with some kind of harmonious relationship between the soul and the mind. The dominance of reason leads to bare technology and to war.

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven 09.05.2024

Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>

Frost-resistant lithium-ion battery 15.03.2024

An international team of scientists led by Zhejiang University professor Fan Xiulin has developed a new type of electrolyte that allows lithium-ion batteries to function at extremely low temperatures. This new breakthrough opens the door to using batteries even at -80°C.

Research into a new electrolyte for lithium-ion batteries represents a significant step forward in the development of energy-dense and cold-resistant batteries. This breakthrough could have far-reaching implications for various industries that require power supply in extreme temperature environments.

Xiulin emphasizes that such batteries can be used in various fields, including telecommunications, transportation, Arctic research, aviation and others.

Scientists have created an innovative electrolyte that consists of rare solvent molecules that allow them to achieve characteristics previously unavailable for modern electrolytes.

This electrolyte enables fast charging in cold conditions, allowing lithium-ion batteries to operate with high capacity and stability even at -80°C. Also, in extremely low temperatures, the battery can be charged to 80% of its capacity in just 10 minutes.

The scientists note that their electrolyte design is effective not only for lithium-ion batteries, but also for sodium-ion and potassium batteries. However, more research and experimentation is required for this technology to be used more widely.

Recently, scientists from Harvard University introduced a low-cost sodium-ion battery using waste tea leaves. This is another example of innovation in the development of energy-dense batteries.
