Focus Description:

Coins are collected together.

Focus secret:

This spectacular trick, which is performed on a table, is performed with the simplest props: four coins, two playing cards and a handkerchief.

1. Starting the trick, place four coins in the corners of the scarf. Then throw two cards on the handkerchief, saying: “Here are four coins, two cards and one handkerchief.”

2. Take one card in each hand, keeping your thumbs on top, and cover the two coins in the lower left and lower right corners with them. Say, "I can use these cards to cover two coins in this row."

3. Lift the cards and cover the coins in the upper left and upper right corners with them. Say: “Or I can cover the coins in this row with these cards.”

4. Next, you cover the coin in the lower right corner with your right hand, and with your left hand you move the card from the upper left corner to the upper right corner, saying: “Again, I can cover two coins in the row.” At this moment, when you cover the coin in the lower right corner, with the thumb of your right hand you press on the left edge of the coin, and the fingers of your right hand are able to pick up the coin, quietly lift it and press it against the card.

5. The left hand carries the card towards you and passes it over the card held by the right hand: you seem to intend to cover the coin in the lower right corner. Then the right hand moves towards you, holding the coin under the card, and the left hand leaves the card in that corner, exactly where the stolen coin was located.

6. The right hand places the card on the coin in the upper left corner, leaving it there along with the coin quietly moved from the lower right corner. Covering the card in the upper left corner and the coin space in the lower right corner, accompany your actions with the words: “Or I can cover two coins diagonally - like this.”

7. Say that you have now covered the coins at the diagonal points (top left and bottom right corners). Take the coin located in the lower left corner with your right hand, lift the same corner of the scarf with your left hand, as shown in the picture. Say that you will now push the coin through the fabric, causing it to join the coin under the card in the top left corner.

8. Now you make another subtle movement. While placing the coin under the handkerchief with your right hand, grab it with the fingers of your left hand. The right hand continues moving forward continuously, without pause, to the upper left corner as you pass the coin from the right to the left.

9. When your empty right hand is under the coins in the upper left corner, make a slight upward movement with your finger so that the coins under the card clink. Explain that the coin has just penetrated the fabric and joined the coin underneath the card.

10. The right hand comes out from under the scarf, and you, extending it to the card in the upper left corner, casually indicate that it is empty. The fingers of the left hand still hold the coin, but under the scarf.

11. With your right hand, you pick up the card in the upper left corner and, in the same motion, move the card towards your left hand until it is directly above the lower left corner.

12. In one continuous movement, you wind the card under the thumb of your left hand with your right hand, at the same moment the left hand pulls the clamped coin from under the fabric and presses it to the card.

13. Then with your left hand you place the card in the upper left corner on two coins, quietly adding a coin to those already lying there.

14. The left hand returns to the lower left corner and lifts the handkerchief while with your right hand you take the coin in the lower left corner. Announce that you will push another coin through the fabric.

15. Place your right hand under the scarf in the same way as you have already done, passing the coin into your left hand, where it remains while your right hand continues to crawl under the scarf.

16. With your right hand, you pretend to push the coin through the fabric under the card in the upper left corner, clinking as you did the first time.

Focus Coins coming together

17. Remove your right hand from under the scarf, then pick up the card in the upper left corner.

18. Showing three coins, turn the card towards your left hand, which has a fourth at the ready. Explain: “And another coin goes through the fabric!”

Focus Coins coming together

19. As before, the right hand passes the card to the left, which presses a coin towards it from below. Place the card on the three coins in the upper left corner, as before, secretly adding another, fourth, to them.

20. There are no more coins in view of the spectators, and you remind them that one coin is still under the card in the lower right corner.

Focus Coins coming together

So you give it the command to join the other three coins. There will be no coin under the card. Pick up the card in the top left corner with your left hand, revealing that all four coins are there.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

NB3N3020 - new frequency multiplier 29.01.2009

ON Semiconductor introduced the NB3N3020, a programmable frequency multiplier with high precision, low phase noise, and low edge jitter.

The chip provides both LVPECL and LVCMOS clocks from a single device, enabling the NB3N3020 to be used in a wide range of applications, including networking, consumer electronics, and computers. The IC has three frequency select pins with three LVCMOS logic levels, which provide a choice of one of 26 frequencies, allowing designers to meet the requirements and replace multiple clock sources in various systems with one customizable chip.

ON Semiconductor's NB3N3020 Programmable Frequency Multiplier has a wide output frequency range from 8 MHz to 210 MHz. The microcircuit uses quartz with parallel resonance at the first harmonic with a frequency of 5,0 ... 27 MHz or an unbalanced clock source LVCMOS with a frequency of 2,0 ... 210 MHz for operation and generates a differential LVPECL output and an unbalanced LVCMOS output signal of the selected frequency, which is obtained by multiplying the input frequency.

When the output enable (OE) LVCMOS signal is low, the chip disables the clock outputs, which allows developers to control the presence of clocking in systems being created.
